Drop rate changes suck

January 24, 2006 By Gitr Leave a Comment

We have come to the conclusion at work that the drop rate for nice items that I was buying low and selling high are now so high, I can barely sell them for more than I paid. Plans: Arcanite Champion are a great example. I bought this 3 weeks ago for 118G. It took me two weeks to sell because Auctioneer told me that I should sell it for 297G. It ended up going for 145G. So I bought another a couple of days ago for 80G, thinking I’d make a nice 65G profit. Nope. It sold last night for 93G.

Lesson of the day: be careful of what you buy on AH just because Auctioneer tells you what the going rate has been.
