2-level night

September 20, 2006 By Gitr 6 Comments

I got Deadr up to level 16 last night, making him my highest-level PvP avatar. I found the apothecary I was seeing the dot for in Undercity, too. That was tricky. ๐Ÿ™‚ Now, just to find some PuGs to run Deadmines over and over again to get Cookie’s Stirring Rod.

I got to 15 by running all of the Arugal quests by and in the cave by the Sepulcher. I found those guys by accident and found them to be pleasing to my XP and just right for maximum fun without stopping. At level 14, I finally realized that my wand was as powerful as my Mind Blast, so I should just save the mana. Unless I was in the cave and facing the possiblity of a re-pop right next to me, I even stopped using my bubble to minimize waiting and any mana usage at all. It’s quite silly to have 954 mana and never stop killing at your level and never get below 75% mana and 90% health. Boy does that change later on ๐Ÿ™‚ That fun stopped after turning in the last quest to that guy before he tried to send me down to the village outside SFK. Time to go to Kalimdor, methinks.

My Kalimdor adventures started with flying back to the Crossroads. First, I dropped off 2 delivery quests and headed West to the Oasis for some fungus. I killed raptors and striders along the way and had 3 quests to turn in when I got back to Crossroads. Then it was back out there to kill the zevbrahs, and then again to kill the prowlers, and AGAIN to kill Echeyakee, who was quite possibly the biggest let down of any “go kill that big bad end of questline monsters” I can think of. I even drew an add and slaughtered both of them in 30 seconds. After that, it was just a matter of going to kill the scytheclaw raptors and look at their nests for the level-up. It was 10:00 and time to hit the hay for work.

Yes yes, we know Echyakee is no Hogger, but he’s all we’ve got ๐Ÿ™‚

Heh – good to see you’re still writing – I uninstalled for a while and went mountain biking ๐Ÿ˜‰

Back in the game again (horde side mostly these days)

The question is: are you willing to start over again and come over to Burning Legion with Aeigelus and crew? I got sick of getting on Gitr on Kargath and not having anything to do because my next thing is the 45-minute Baron run and I STILL can’t get Drakk to drop the chest.

you know – with the beauty of character transfers for a teensy 10 bones or so – it’s just not that hard to do ๐Ÿ™‚

    No starting over required.

    Is BL PvP/RP/ or Regular?

Pathos Hammer/Forge are doing pretty good on TN. We have ZG on farm and starting to expand out from there. We had the mandatory Stranglethorn Vale Pirate Raid yesterday in celebration of the gamers most hallowed holiday.

What are you guys doing on Burning Legion? PvPing the 10-19 grind or what?

BL is PvP. Aeigelus and friends all have their lvl 60s in their raiding guild and he started an alt guild that, from what I can see, is upper 40s on up. They would be hard-pressed to do BRD right now because the guild is made up of about 5 accounts, but lots of toons.

I wish I could have gotten into the Forge thing with you, but that was going to be too much of a commitment for my social calendar. (*read: girlfriend-keeping ability)
