It just took 40 minutes of crazy killing on Fenris Isle to level up last night. I just might do the same thing for going all the way to level 20. Boring as all get-out, but I might venture into the walled area on the island. I still need to look up where to bury the talking head, then that should help me decide what to do.
I got some nice gear and took my Mana up over 1140.รย I got Spirit Tap level 4 with my ding, so I really, really never need to mana-up while grinding. It’s fun to take on 2 mobs of higher level and just bubble and heal and wand the crap out of them with no danger of depleting my mana. I’ve avoided any big weapon purchases so far, leaving those for the 20s, or waiting for raid drops or quest rewards. I already have some stuff from SFK that I need to wait until I hit 20-21 to wear.
Yesterday was a good day, starting with going to work on Saturday. I need to get a lot of hours to get set for our wedding in 4 weeks, so I am not upset about working at all. I got to learn some new stuff that is easy work that just needs to be done anyway, so I might as well come in on Saturday and get overtime for it. That makes it even more “worth”while. ๐ After that, I got to do a house call for computer work, come home for the Ohio State game against Penn State, and help K unpack all of the bridal shower gifts from last week. OSU kicked butt, the apartment looks GREAT, and then I leveled Deadr. See? THAT is a great day.
The only thing you need to keep buying is a wand. If you maintain a good wand at all levels, it is easy as pie to level up a priest.
Thanks, Winter. BTW, I forgot what class you usually are. Aren’t you a kick-butt mage, too?
I’m using basically the same technique you mention to level my priest. Mind Blast, SW:P, Bubble, Wand, Rinse, Repeat. Seems to work fine. Not very exciting, but oh well. Oh, and mana drain casters, keep them from healing and all.
