The question everyone is asking themselves and their guildies is: “When the expansion comes out, are you going to start a new toon?”
My answer to that question is, “Yes, and no.” I will be quite happy to keep plugging away at Deadr on Burning Legion because I finally got his cool spells in my spellbook. As for Kargath, I don’t really have any interests in anyone aside from a passing interest in getting Grimr a mount. Those last 2 levels take forever, though, and are so boring. I think a change of pace on that server would be fun. If I start a Blood Elf, he will be well-funded, too.
So, what will it be for you? Elite status or new adventures?
Draeni Shaman for me. Though I’m sure a majority of my time will remain on my main (60 rogue).
Unfortunately WoW has become boring to me. End game raiding for 12 hours for 1 epic just is not fun. The expansion is not changing that experience nor is it offerring anything new or exciting. Same old stuff. Had new classes been introduced then I would be very excited. I’ll be cancelling my account when Vanguard comes out.
(I like the new look here.)
Definitely both.
I will have a 60 Shaman and a 60 Warrior by the time the expansion comes out and they’re definitely going tourist mode to check out the Outlands.
And I’ve already made arrangements for a Draenei Shaman and a Blood Elf Warlock. Both will be too cool for words.
And my 37 Druid had better get cracking if he’s ever going to get Flight Form.
This expansion will add so much I pretty much have zero interest in checking out even good competition to WoW. (And from what I’ve been reading there aren’t many, maybe only one, of those.)
Thanks for the kudos, Kinless.
