Getting time in tonight

October 16, 2006 By Gitr 4 Comments

Before Iย forget, does anyone know if a piece of gear that adds + Arcane Spell Damage will also increase Arcane wand damage? Wands can be resisted, so I’m assuming so, but totally unwilling to spend 7G and have it not do what I want. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll get some play time in tonight while I do ALL my laundry in preparation of packing for the honeymoon. I’ll take a break or stop altogether for Monday Night Football because I have Rex Grossman and the Chicago defense on my fantasy football team.

Deadr’s Sparkleshell Mantle finally sold for 15G last night, so he has some money to play with again. Pretty much the only gear upgrades he could buy are 45G blues, so I think I’ll just keep playing with his current gear and make some more money. In a few levels, that stuff would be junk anyway.

I’m debating going to kill the yetis in Hillsbrad and asking for help on getting Frostmaw. He’s a 37 non-elite, I believe. He’d probably resist most everything.

I’m really getting ticked that I can’t find any Shadow gear yet. It must all be 40s and up. I had Shadow boots at one point and the Shadow wand is really low level. All of a Priest’s spells are Shadow damage. I can get all of the healing gear I want, but I’m grinding/questing 95% of the time.

I could do uber damage with Shadow gear.

Nothing adds to a wand’s damage (other than the talents). It’s considered “white” damage. This is why wands have such high dps compared to weapons.

As for shadow gear, you should be able to pick up Shadoweave gear around that level. You may need to find a tailor who can make some for you.

Excellent!! Thank you. I think I know of one, right, Josh? Isn’t Rhone a tailor?
