How many of you are pre-IBM PCs? I am of the Commodore upbringing. We got a Commodore 64 when I was in kindergarten. It had 2 funny looking symbols on the fronts, not the tops, of each key. The funky thing was that you HAD to use them to do ANYTHING with the computer because there was no mouse. It was all keyboard controlled. (you youngin’s listen up)
I’m dating myself here, not as much as someone like my dad, but… I remember having this one game called Shadow of the Beast that came on cassettes. Three of them, I think. I would put in a tape while Mom was making dinner, change it during dinner, and then it would be ready to play when we were done eating. When you died, you had to put the first tape back in to reload some stuff. Needless to say,รย I never made it to the third tape.
Just think how many cassettes WoW would take up and how longรย it would take to load. OMG!!
