Ding 36 and nice gear

November 13, 2006 By Gitr 2 Comments

I hit 36 on Saturday in STV getting Lashtail Raptors on the 15 raptor quest from Grom’Gol Base. I turned in the quest and had to kill 4 more to level. Then it was off to Org again to equip my Spellforce Rod that I had in the bank and to hunt for more 36 or other gear. The AH was really hopping this weekend.

I believe I got my first Robe of the Magi before Friday, or on Friday for 30G. Auctioneer told me it should sell for 39G. So I went for it. I decided that if it was that easy to come by 9G, then I could part with it and get another one later. I put it up for 41G and it sold. On Sunday, I bought an Elemental Raiment that showed my shorts again. I haven’t seen my legs in about 30 levels. At least my Necromancer Leggings are also black. With the nice golden Sutarn’s Ring, everything looks pretty nice together. My wife has been teaching me these things since we started dating, so I’m starting to get how colors make you feel better. Looking at those stats, I’d have to agree.

Wow, that is a lot of blues.

Now, I have a serious equpment issue, so listen (or read) up closely. My profile has all this equipment up if you want to just look there, or here are the links of my query:

Main Hand: Giant Club of Shadow Wrath OR Midnight Mace
with Off-Hand: Geomancer’s Rod of the Owl

OR

Two-Hand: Spellforce Rod

I also acquired another Robe of the Magi this morning. Should I sell it or equip it or go for a Robe of Power after I sell it instead of equipping it?

I’m 1/3 of the way through the level, so things are moving along nicely for how much time I’ve played Deadr. His /played time is 4 days, 13 hours, and I’ve spent a LOT of time doing auctions. That reminds me, I broke 100G on Saturday morning before I bought the robe. I’ve got quite a bit of gold wrapped up in that equipment I just linked up, and not all of it has been equipped and can still be resold.

I played a couple of WSGs to try to get to Friendly with the Warsong Outriders. I’m not seeing any reputation increases as I play, so does anyone know exactly what it is that gives rep rather than honor?

Only flag caps give rep for WSG, well, and mark turn ins.

10 per cap, 50 per mark set.

Get 3 capped, get no rep.

Yah, WSG rep sucks to raise.

Thanks for the info on WSG. I guess this will be a long haul. At least Horde usually wins. 😀

It still shouldn’t take too terribly long to get the piece I want. Honored will be a pain, though.
