Interface Addons

November 29, 2006 By Gitr 8 Comments

I am looking for the best of the best interface addons for Deadr and Maimr, my rogue, on Burning Legion. I found a cool PvP video on YouTube this morning of a warlock going nuts all over, and he had a pretty neat Unit Frame mod. The portraits are actually your target or yourself, with animation and all. Can anyone identify these addons?

I recognize Serenity and ArcHUD. I’ve had the button mod before, and I’m pretty sure it is part of a compilation. The map and the big buttons on the right side are also mysteries.

Those unitframes look pretty much like x-Perl Unitframes: http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2855

Could be Discord. You can achieve a very similar look with a bunch of the Ace addons, Bartender and AGUF to be specific.

I know for sure that it is not Discord, as that is what I’m using now. I really like it, but to have animated portraits KICKS.

I’ll also have a look at Bartender and AGUF. Thanks.

I like Perl Classic Unit Frames. Has the same animated portraits.

Simce it’s a Warlock, that’s Necrosis he’s using, but Serenity is the Priest version of it.

I used to use ArcHud but am now using MetaHud. I like the bars and customization on it.

For action bars I use Bongos, but not sure if that’s what he’s using. You can make them vertical, resize them, etc. I keep my “PvP buttons” to the right of my Hud. (Mount, Charge, Drop Trap, PetAttack, etc.)

I’ve been going back and forth with a number of different add-ons for my mage and am to the point where I’m looking for recommendations. To all mages out there: Which ones are you currently using?

If you are running a high resolution, you MUST check this UI out. I just saw this today and am dying for new hardware to get up to that resolution. This guy’s toon is a mage and they specifically talk about seeing the focus target for sheeping.
