I’m really starting to get the hang of the PvP thing. This morning, I ran from Tarren Mill to Alterac Mountains. I was stopping to pick up ore along the way. Just past the Gallows Corner, I saw an Iron deposit, so I veered off the road.
There, before me was a pre-occupied Night Elf warrior, mining MY deposit! Dag-nabbit, I bubbled, hit her with 3 DoTs, including Vampiric Embrace, and started nailing her with a Mind Blast and my Shadow wand. At 20% health, she popped a health potion, taking her to 76%, and I went to work on her again. I re-bubbled, Mind Blast, Mind Flay (x2), and wanded the rest. It was over before it began.
It’s defeats like this that make me sad for poor Gitr. How would HE stack up agains Deadr? Right now, the only mobs I have problems with are rogues. I just can’t stand getting stunned! Having to keep them in front of you is also a pain when you’re trying to wand them. I’m not very quick on my feet with the spinning around yet. I always use the keyboard and they obviously are not.
The way to beat a rogue is to fear and dot them. And bubble and heal and you will widdle them down. As a rogue, I hate that farking bubble. I also cannot take a priest level for level who is spec’d to shadow.
Hey, thanks for the tip. Rogues everywhere shall fear the name Deadr now. 0_o
Remember that dwarf in Deadr hits 38, killed by rogue who stuck it to me? I HATED that encounter. Nevermore!
BTW, I really like your blog. I added you to my blogroll last week and will come back often.
