Crafting for now

December 7, 2006 By Gitr 9 Comments

I have mainly been crafting with my alts the last two days. Maimr is 150/150 Tailoring and 140/150 Blacksmithing. Drundeh is 150/150 Leathermaking. They both need to level to go any higher, so I will take Maimr out to play tomorrow morning.

I was able to get onto CurseGaming site to download several mods. I REALLY like vBagnon. It is way better than the old Bagnon I had before the patch. I’m not sure if it is by the same people, or if it has added features that 2.0 allows, but it rocks.

I also re-installed Bongos for my bar manager. I had been doing without since I started playing Deadr, but I wanted more screen space now that I’m comfortable with what his spells look like on the bar. I really need to get Ace2, but the server was totally bogged down, as you all might have noticed.

Aeigelus told me that he has a working copy of Auctioneer, so I need to get my hands on that so I have something to do.

Tonight I will finish up the long ‘Infiltration’ questline in Tarren Mill that I am on the second stage for. I accidently got the missive off a mob and went directly to the prisoner and killed the jailer before turning in the missive. After I turned it in like the directions said, I went back and everyone BUT the jailer had respawned. I am really hating playing Deadr without ClickHeal, because bubbling is a pain without, having to use Alt-4, and all. Once I get Fubar, Auctioneer, and ClickHeal, I will be one happy priest again.

Well, except that they took away Mind Flay! WTH!!! That is just wrong. Now I will never be able to get Spirit Tap in a raid. Of all the classes to nerf, why would you nerf a priest. No one ever runs around complaining that priests are able to heal too much, or do too much damage. Never! If anything, people stay away from priests because they are happy doing the healing that a druid can do with the right gear, while still being able to switch to combat or tank form. What a shame, Blizzard.

    I haven’t played my priest yet, what do you mean they took away Mind Flay?

    I mean it is not in the spellbook any more. It was on my bar, and there was a blank there. So I went to the spellbook and it was gone.

    Mindflay is a talent in the Shadow tree, no? You need to take the talent to have spell for use.

    And I used Bongos too, in a past life, and am trying out Bartender3 now. It’s an ACE add-on and I’m liking it.

    Yes, I was sooo embarrassed last night when I realized it. I was on a quest and not killing very fast. I suddenly realized why I had not seen Shadow Weaving up on my debuffs list and why they also got rid of Vampiric Embrace: my talents had been reset. THEN I remembered that important fact and went in and put them all back in.

    I’m a dolt. 🙂

    @Kinless: I’m using Bartender3 also. Like it a lot.

    Yeah, the guildies online at the time of my discovery had a nice laugh about it, too.
