ZF 2.0

December 22, 2006 By Gitr 5 Comments

I ran ZF for the second time ever last night. We did it in under 2 hours and killed EVERYTHING. We were 4 squishies and a warrior. Not just any warrior. Serenity in Chaos has a HWL warrior that was helping out his guildie when we realized that we had no tank. It was 2 priests, a ‘lock, and a mage. I got the Mojo Mask off the boss at the bottom of the temple.

I dinged level 45 while I was standing on the right side railing at the top of the temple during the 5-6 minute skirmish. That was pretty cool. I was eating up XP all night, usually to the tune of 350-380 per kill. I went from 72% of level 44 to 34% of level 45 after I turned in my quests, too. I could run ZF one more time tonight and get another ding out of it.

I like ZF. I like the layout where you can just go for certain bosses with out caring about the others. I helped a guildie get the Sul thraze set there one night. We ran it 7 times in a row. Got both peices and a fat lot of lewt. and we were running it in less then a hour the final few times. (full clears too) Top it off we were level apropriate for the area. We got so good at speed running it we went back the next day to help another guildies get his carrot and ended up clearing for the fun. I still go back often even at level 60. It is soo much more fun and fast too. Now if i can only get the courage to go into Uldaman.

I find Uldaman easy and boring…until you go downstairs and the waves of golems come. Boy, that really drains the mana when the tank is getting wolluped.

Perhaps i can find a guildie in need of a run through there. Would be challenging to me being unfamiliar with the place.

I did ZF the other night with a 60 warrior, 60 priest, and 40 rogue, and me, a 41 mage. Half the things were red to me, but it was fun. I need to be a few levels older before I attempt that again!

Gratz! I knew you’d like it. The blooddrinkers are your first taste of what ZG is like. They really cause havok if too many people are close to the tank(s).
