After reading some reviews on Vanguard on various sites and blogs, I have decided that I will be purchasing Vanguard when it comes out at the end of the month. I have pretty weak reasons why, but one of them is that gameplay will be free. Whether that is a sustainable model or not remains to be seen.
I will be far more tempted to get some upgrades to my computer once I start playing it, though, so I am a bit hesitant to get excited about the game, knowing I can’t just go out and spend money like that now. I have responsibilities now. ๐
erm, i would check tobolds website, he did a big review on vanguard, and by the looks of it, doesn’t seem like a fun game unless you’re hardcore
Love your info packed site very very much.
I already read his review…all 5 pages of it. ๐
I still think I will give it a try as something that I can fall back on if I want to take a break from the bills associated with WoW. Unless my little Adsense plug starts making more money than my hosting and my monthly subscription, WoW is like buying a new game every 3 months.
I’m torn…can you tell?
I’m very much considering it, in spite of what Tobold said in his review. It won’t be at release though, I might give it a month or two, just to avoid the launch week blues and the initial patches. My game time is too limited to spend waiting for things to work. I probably won’t be logging in to TBC this week either, even though I’ll have the expansion.
