Since Gitr is on a PvE server, I have had no problem with Faction quarrels while in Outlands. I don’t have my flag up, so I’m free to roam and quest without fear of a gang-up or ganking. Deadr, however is not going to be so lucky. Couple that with his getting to Outlands late, as everyone will be 62-65+ when Deadr hits 58, I have a feeling I will be in for a rocky start.
What have been your PvP experiences in Outlands? Has the LFG system been working for you to group up when your guildies are busy so you have a buddy to keep you protected? Inquiring minds want to know.
I’m on a PvE server, so Hellfire Peninsula isn’t a huge free-for-all. However, while questing there my friends and I generally stay flagged the whole time because the PvP objective is worth marks, honor, gold and XP every single time you do it. We just do our questing and then hit a tower as soon as the Horde take it.
That said, we haven’t been ganked once while away from the towers. Whether this is because everyone is so busy questing they don’t have time to gank people, or it’s because the Hordies see us and go “zomg lock + rogue lol no” I couldn’t say.
My PvP server is completely carebear. No one is fighting, just doing the quests. I haven’t done the PvP server quests, so I don’t know how that will work.
I think that everyone just wants to level up quickly and get the cool gear. Plus most gankers are essentially cowards, and given that you probably have a bunch of reinforcements right next to you, they are more wary of attacking.
LOLz…Warlock and rogue!!
DoTs + stuns, gouges, and eviscerates. OUCH! The only thing missing is more people to go after.
I wish I was on a carebear server. That would be so much nicer. I haven’t even ventured to Blasted Lands since the expansion. I had been thinking about running the Snickerfang and Vulture and Pincer quests, but then I rethought that when I realized I could (and would) be killed on sight by a multitude of 60+s streaming down from Nethergarde Keep.
