Ding 56, Deathclasp Goes Down With a Surprise

January 23, 2007 By Gitr 6 Comments

I have to show you the screenshots to believe how I got to complete the Deathclasp quest and picking up the satchel. I uploaded my profile, so it is available as soon as RPG puts it through.

My action started off with heading South out of Cenarian Hold to go after the other quest items from the various exoskeletal buggers around. I got my last 6 drops after about 25 kills, and turned them in. On my way back out to see about what level the mobs for the quest to free the spirits of 8 Tortured Druids and 8 Tortured Sentinels in Southwind Village were (The Spirits of Southwind [55]), I saw Kamaz again.

This time, I tried to communicate a little better than waving and not whacking each other. I read somewhere that you can read opposing text by putting in spaces. I got him to follow me, but I’m not sure he ever understood that he could talk back.

Once we got to Deathclasp, he said /thank and we started in on him and his 2 bodyguards. After we killed him the first time, we were soon joined by another Alliance rogue who was probably wondering what the heck was going on. An Alliance and Horde team killing a level 59 Elite? NO!!! Yes, my friends, it happened. Several times. Since I could not loot after they initiated combat, we had to do it a couple of times to make sure we all got the drop. I think we killed him 4 times, just to be sure we all got everything, including Noggle’s Satchel.

How many times are you going to see cooperation like this? Anyway, I turned in those 2 last quests and dinged 56 and hearthed to Orgrimmar to train and repair and shop. I had a 1.5g repair bill and got my new spells. 🙂

I was itching to craft some new gear because the AH still sucks. I made a Runecloth Shoulders and Felcloth Robe. They may not be way better stats then what I was wearing, but I really hate the Undead’s chicken legs, so I wanted a nice robe again. As I was crafting my new armor, Aeigelus linked up his flying mount for the guild to check out. /Drool.

I liked the story jesse, nice one..didn’t realise you were in the guild that grouped together to level one of your own to 70..what did you think of it as an event?

Aeig did that on his own. He took the week of from work and ran quests and 5-man instances to level out. He said it was the most he’s played since he got the game.

There will be a 60-70 post coming soon, he told me.

I believe that guild was Millenium on an EU server.

If you enjoyed doing that quest with the Alliance, wait until you get to Outlands. That kind of stuff happened countless times to me through my journey to 70. At one point, myself and an Alliance hung out for around 2-3 hours killing mobs, questing, etc 🙂 It amazed me to no end.

Hey, again. How are the exams coming?

I think you might be confused on who is who. Gitr is 60 and I stopped playing him because I want to get Deadr to 58 to, yes, take him to Outlands right away. I will be able to kill 60-62 mobs with ease, giving me gear equal to the first 5-6 quests that I completed with Gitr.

Molton Core for days and weeks for Deadr? Heck no!! I’m going straight for the good stuff.
