One Hour from Level 56, Questing in Silithus

January 23, 2007 By Gitr 1 Comment

I had quite a time last night questing in Silithus. It brought back memories of old. Here are some old posts, from back when I really couldn’t tell a story. I checked the date, and Gitr dinged 57 in my January 26th post last year. I will get Deadr to 56 tonight after 1 hour of play at the rate I have been going at. To help my timetable, I stayed in the inn at Cenarian Hold to maximize killing time after American Idol.

Heinz 57 anyone?
Gitr’s getting attuned
The rest of the story …

I won’t likely be getting attuned any time soon, but I should be pressing for 57 and 58 harder than Gitr did because I can kill bigger things than he could. His approach was to kill lots of things 2 levels lower, while Deadr is going after 3-5 levels higher. It really doesn’t take that much more mana, so why not? 🙂

I was running around an Alliance warrior who was in clear agreement that we should just leave each other alone. That sure made the questing easier, since we were there for an hour together.

Meanwhile, the guild was questing away in Outlands, and Brym got a great blue dagger drop. It’s supposed to sell for 120g, but somone else said it isn’t. I offered 10g to use it when I get to 61. He is sending it anyway in exchange for heals when I start doing instances with them. I said “Bubbles and Renews for everyone!! Except tanks.” LOL. Tanks don’t get bubbles, of course.

I turned in the quest for the Sand Skitterer Fangs and Stonelash Scorpid Stingers to complete the Deadly Desert Venom quest and finished killing all 20 Dredge Crushers. Over 12,000xp later, I was out hunting for more creatures. I am already 1/3 of the way done with that quest, but I haven’t found the other buggers to kill yet. When I do, though, they’re toast.
