What to Do About Gear at This Point?

January 24, 2007 By Gitr 6 Comments

Deadr will be able to craft/wear several pieces of armor that he has really been looking forward to getting at level 57, but with the Outlands just one level after that, would that be crazy? I picked up Tailoring with the whole intent being to craft the Truefaith Vestmentsย and Chromatic Cloak. What do you say?

I have made a minor change to the sidebar on my template for individual pages. Please head over to either my About page or my Priest Set page to see if you like the change and think it should go on the other templates. Thanks.

I say wait for Outlands, and get the gear from the first few instances. There is a really good priest robe in Blood Furnace, that will make you hate crafting Truefaith.

How long do those 5-man instances take to run? I’m really looking forward to seeing that new content, not to mention running in a group with you guys. It’s been a long haul, but it should be well worth it.

We finished Blood Furnace in 45 minutes, but that was a fast run with some higher levels in it. You can comfortably get in done in an 1-1.5 hours.

I’ve been meaning to ask, are those barebone, need to be at that level limits on the instances? Blood Furnace is listed as lvl 61, and Hellfire Ramparts is lvl 60. Can I run those at 58 with guildies?

I think I will be able to have one or two nights a week where I play for 2-3 hours, because I think my wife is getting it that playing creates blog content and blog content increases traffic and fun, and that makes me happier. ๐Ÿ™‚

I also agree on waiting for the Outlands. Blues and greens are easily replacing tier 2 epics.

Also, The chromatic cloak is crafted by dragonscale leatherworkers.

OMg, I’m such a noob! I suppose that would have been easy enough to head off at the pass since it wouldn’t show up in the AH under Tailoring Recipes. ๐Ÿ™‚
