Some days are like this. I’m pretty much on-call a lot in the office for the emergency documents or the trouble with Word getting it to cooperate with the authors’ end goals. I usually do big documents that let me really dig in and work on them for days at a time. I really enjoy knowing what I’ll be doing tomorrow.
Today started out that way. I knew I would be working on the database that I have created over the last year to track all of our documents. It’s getting pretty massive and is able to track over 50 metrics in various tables, queries, and custom reports and is weighing in at 31MB of data. My latest project in implementing data has been importing our spreadsheets of another classification of documents.
I’ve run into trouble with hyperlinking in Access that is bugging me to no end, so I can’t even think about WoW today. I know, a very sad day, in that respect. I want to think about other things, but I’ll never have my usual stroke of genius if I do. I have over 600 hours put into this baby, so I’m pretty sure that is as much playing time as I have in WoW. It gives my life balance and puts food on the table. Now if I could just figure out a way around the 64 character hyperlink field limit…

Hey, how’s the wife today? You getting enough sleep? I’ve been keeping my wife up at night. She says I start coughing and rolling around and humming in my sleep around 2am. LOL. Wanna bet who’s cranky in the morning from that?
Wife is doing awesome, still quite emo (emotional) at times but i just try to ignore it. She is also heading into the “nesting stage” where she wants to constantly change the apartment around and clean. Shes not getting any help from me this time. After last time with the moving of on picture 6 times before it was on the “right” wall….no thanks im doon with dat.
If you are making noises like that it sounds like apnea. Might wanna look into getting a CPaP night-time breathing rig. I know my dad has to use one and he had the same problem. Always around the same time at night too. Like clock work. This is ofcourse if you dont already have one. A sleep study is usually done to determine the need/if the there is one.
crash and burn baby, not aimed at you Mind just another great reference from Hackers.
