Buttered Monkeys to the Rescue

February 14, 2007 By Gitr 16 Comments

So far, I have 8 signatures for the charter that I started passing around last night. There was one dissenting member that didn’t particularly care for the name, so we need to iron that out with a vote before I get the last signature.

It was not easy gettin the charter in my hot, twitchy hands to take around because of the bugged guards in the new cities. I first encountered a guard who was definitely not speaking English, and then the Guild Master was offering me the guards’ usual list of “who do you want to find?” That was pretty annoying, but we soon had server problems and when I came back on, everything was working fine in the end.

I met a complete moron West of Tranquilium that couldn’t find his way out of an openย wet paper bag, let alone fight his way out of the closed end of it. Now, I was in front of him, facing the village, and he still didn’t get it. I finally had to go. It was late and he was really bothering me. Just because I’m cute doesn’t make me a tour guide. “We’re walking, we’re walking…”

Today is total bull crap at work. We’re all really pissed at a co-worker who’s not carrying their weight and adding all kinds of stress. I have a ton of work to do today, so it’s not until I get a break that I can add anything. (EDIT: obviously I found some time while hacking Access’ stupid switchboard limits)

Bloodr hit 15 last night, started putting points in Beastmastery (6),ย and is halfway through it and through Honored with Tranquillium. I got some nice screenshots and some pics of the tabard I want to use.

    I am “snorking” right now.

“Gnomes & Buttered Monkeys” would be good – sounds like a rock band… think “Dieter & the Wet Sprockets”.

    SNORK

I’m a big fan of short guild names, so even adding “nuts” makes it a little long under the toon name when you’re running around.

All in favor of keeping it “Buttered Monkeys” say “tubbyhocking.” All in favor of “Gnomes and Buttered Monkeys” say “fuzzlesnuts”
