We woke up this morning to -10 degrees F. Nuts, man, pure nuts! We were going to go out to eat every day at the wife’s favorite old stomping grounds, but no one is going out today. I guess it’s a good day to keep sleeping. I slept in 5 hours and feel much better after two 12-13 hour driving days.
There were no incidents of any sort on the interstates, not even any slowdowns on our side. I don’t think we saw more than 15 cars before we left Richmond in the morning, and we got through Washington and Baltimore with no problems. Staying awake when K was sleeping was my biggest danger, I suppose.
It turns out that Grandma has broadband Internet now, so I’m hooked up full-speed, but my laptop still sucks, so my gaming is pretty much limited to Auction House fun. Maybe I can make some real money this week.
cold? … are you kidding me? … that’s perfect BBQ weather!
Time to break out the ribs and steaks!!
Nah, seriously .. just head on out, grab a stick, and lace up some skates to play some good ol’ fashion pond hockey.
That’ll warm you up good!
We were going to shovel the snow next to Grandma’s car so we could all park in the driveway when she told us that they left for Florida for the winter. ๐ Smart.
We knew we were in trouble when we left Saturday morning from Tampa with ice on our windshield with the intent to travel 1,500 miles north. /grin
