I Love Netherweave Cloth

March 1, 2007 By Gitr 1 Comment

I realized that the market for Netherweave Bags was good enough for a sizable profit over mats on BL. I took my 100g and whittled it down to 31g and also bought some leather that is supposed to sell well, but hasn’t yet. I bought up Netherweave Cloth like crazy. I made 2 bags for Jikksta for last night’s witty answer to my contest and sold 3 more. They sold just as I hearthed back to Shattrath City.

Not being one to miss out on a good thing, I went back to Undercity to buy more cloth and sold 6 more. I also posted a wand that had been giving me AH trouble before and sold it for 110g. This morning, I bought 12 stacks of cloth and made a pair or Netherweave Pants and Netherweave Gloves to hit 340 Tailoring and made 10 more Netherweave Bags. I bought the recipe for Imbued Netherweave Bags on the AH right then and there.

Here are how the mats break down on BL at the current time:

1 Imbued Netherweave Bag
18 slots – BoE
72 Netherweave Cloth = ~15.75g
8 Arcane Dust = ~1.75g
1 Greater Planar Essence = 3.5g
2 Netherweb Spider Silk = 10g

That places the total AH cost of the mats for a bag at 31g while it is selling for 39g at the moment. I think I will be farming for some silk for some cushion, although killing Bleeding Hollow Peons for cloth isn’t a bad idea, either. I got 7 cloth in about as many minutes this morning. It’s a better profit than Netherweave Bags, and will continue to level my Tailoring. Wouldn’t it be cool to make enough money leveling my profession to make all of my guild 18-slot bags for free? I should have over 200g when I log in tonight if all of my bags sold.

After all of that Tailoring, I think I will go get my 300 Mining and come back to be able to farm ore while I level out to 70. I need to hit 63 before I can wear any more of my crafted armor anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚

MAN i wish i could farm for ya. I’m a powergamer. I’m a Guy that spent 3 days fishin in the barens till i had 320 Deviate fishes. Then cooked them and posted them. Made almost 80g….at 38. Farming cloth….meh on my Gnome Mindkiller i have a grownign stock of 100+ NWcloth. I just threw the full stacks in the bank and make bandages out of the loose stuff. I’m acctually saving it for when my wife’s char decides to level past 300 in tailoring. By that time ill prolly have 500+ NWcloth for her to use. Cuz thats the lovin i give.

Gratz on breaking into the big cash. Keep it up and you will be able to buy us all EPIKZ FLYERS!! MWUAHAHAH!!!
