Venturing Out In Terrokar Forest; Tailoring=$$$

March 2, 2007 By Gitr 18 Comments

I got on Bloodr again last night to find the two places I wanted to go to turn in quests and do some more of them were still being camped by high-level Alliance players. /sigh. So Deadr went and made a ton of gold. In the process, he spent a lot, too.

I started yesterday morning getting the quest for getting the two Eyes of Veil, but hadn’t ventured out to do so. I got to the location after work and got one of them, but I still need to get the Eye of Shienor in the treehouse on the East side. During that stint, I lit the 3 Altars and got 14/30 of the feathers from the guys guarding the eyes and about a stack of Netherweave cloth (yay for saving 5g!).

I went to UC to play the AH to get cloth and such to make more bags. After 9 bags sold right after posting them, I repeated the process, but made 5 Netherweave Boots so I could get some more skill points and got to 245.

This morning, all of the bags had sold and I went in to buy more. One of the sellers /w me and said “buy them ALL!” LOL. He was saving for an epic flying mount. I told him “I just bought 80g…have a nice day.” I took the translocator to Silvermoon to use the Mana Loom in the Bazaar and made my first Imbued Netherweave Bag and 11 more Netherweave Bags. That should be about 130g when I get home.

There doesn’t seem to be an end to the bag market any time soon, because those that are not tailors are buying bags, not only for their mains, but their mains are bankrolling their lowbie alts since the expansion. I am now the proud owner of a level 22 Blood Elf with 3 Netherweave bags ๐Ÿ™‚ . While I was in the Bazaar, I found the AH (didn’t know there was one there before ๐Ÿ™ , so big YAY there) and that the mailbox is friggin’ right outside the doorway. FINALLY! I’m sorely tempted to re-roll Butterbanker as a Belf to take advantage of that situation.

After all of that Tailoring, I hearthed back to Shattrath City and went to Cenarian Thicket to see if I could locate the druid that I was supposed to speak to there. I found him right on the road next to a building and a tower. I proceeded to finish 3 quests there in about 15-20 minutes. I had to kill quite a few moths to get the samples Deadr needed, but it only took 5 of the vicious ones to get my 4 samples. Then I saw the “terrible” Naphthal’ar moth at the top of the tower. He is level 64 and was no problem. I had to kill 1 moth in the tower at the bottom and had no resistance getting to him and no adds in the fight. Then I found the broken druid in the next building and examined the object (it looks like the leather ball you can craft).

That quest was Clues in the Thicket, which is the beginning of a questline that leads you to speak to Empoor, much like the quest at Falcon Watch with the dude having an affair. Only this guy named Empoor has a body guard. I had passed him on the way to the Thicket, and he just to happened to be walking by as I turned in the quest. I was stupidly mounted when I spoke to him and he started fighting me. Just target him and when he gets to 1% he stops. It only took about 10 seconds. He sends you to speak to Wind Trader Latrai in Lower City. He’s got stolen goods that he wants retrieved. The rewards look decent, so I’ll do that one tonight.

I need to get friendly with Lower City for some things that I want, but I just haven’t been questing for the last 2-3 weeks with Deadr. He’s at 72% now, so he should ding sometime this weekend, depending on how many bags I make and sell. ๐Ÿ™‚

I HATE YOU BOTH! MAKING HUMOR AT “MY” EXPENSE! How RUDE! That is it! I quit I am no longer going to be the pregnant one in this relationship. OH CARP! I guess that I have no choice in this matter… Then again it is just sad that Mindkiller has thoughts of his wife with other men. Just next time can I choose the guy that is grinding “THIS” wife???

    The PREGNANT wife.

You lost Faction FTW Mind. You better get to grinding here soon…

Oh yeah and as far as the baby gap comment from Mind… I think that you should actually look into maybe a “Tall and Twiggy” instead of the obvious “Big and Tall” You shop at…

Pregnant people should not post comments. Specially when it is about anything related to rational thoughts. Or irrational thoughts and stuff.

Actually, those are my biggest jeans I own. They are for driving and working around the house for maximum “breathability.” I own 2 pairs of pants that I grew out of since the wedding in October. Then I bought a pair of Levi’s that K thought were too slim when I got them a month ago, and now she refuses to let me wear them in public now.

And truth be told, I’m only 5’4″. ๐Ÿ™ So it’s more like short and horizontally expanding.
