Two More Dumb Signs

March 7, 2007 By Gitr 4 Comments

I’ve really got a thing for finding dumb signs, but I don’t have a camera phone because of Company restrictions. Too bad, because these are great:

On an elevator door with a trashcan blocking the way:

Do not use – Broken!

DUH!!! If you have 2 elevators and one is broken, it’s not going to open. Do you really need to discourage people from using something that has no possibility of being used?

This sign was only to be topped by the sign leading out of the parking lot:

CAUTION: Bycyclists and
Pedestrians Hidden in Crosswalk

<blink><blink>

They must have been hidden pretty darn good, because I didn’t see any of them. I hope I didn’t run over any.

Was the broken sign on the levater or teh Crash can…..some people would just be mad that some one put a broken trash can in front of the elevator.

As for the Peds an cycles…..they are ninjas…you wont seee them until they strike…your car an sue.

Many apologies…the sign was taped to the elevator door and the trashcan was full. I think it was not to be used, either. ๐Ÿ™‚

Who’da thunk it? Hidden folks in the middle of the street!? I know I never thought of hiding in the crosswalk when I was a kid.
