Myssiamea Is a Noob

March 13, 2007 By Gitr 10 Comments

Big fat jerk. What kind of self-respecting level 42/43 player camps Thousand Needles? A dead one. Muhahhaahhaa. Before I could get Deadr’s butt over there from Silvermoon City, someone else’s 64 guildie had taken care of business.

So much for a nice, quiet night of killing mobs 1-3 levels higher than me in close quarters, only to get shot in the back by a 98-point arrow hit as 2 centaurs are shooting at Catr and me. This didn’t just happen once…or twice…or three times. Yes, 4 corpse runs before I fetched my Great Equalizer. I’m more pissed that she was gone when I got there with firepower. I stayed for a while and helped the other players finish their kill quests by Power Word: Deathing everything with one shot. BANG!! 1,300 dmg…dead. It was so awesome. “I need 3 more scouts, Mr. Awesome Priest,” BANG!, 6 seconds, BANG!, six seconds, BANG! Man, I wish that was a gun…I wonder if Miss Anti-Guns has ever read my blog…hmmmm.

I know I signed up to play on a PvP server, so some of you are probably thinking, “SHUT UP!” but there comes a point in the game where it’s not funny or cool. I’ll take a random 50-70 running by and one-shotting me, but they’d better keep moving along. Making my life harder is fine, but miserable…no. That’s where I draw the line. Check out what a bad player looks like. Lots and lots of greens: Myssiamea’s Armory Profile.

Now for a gratuitous photo-op of Bloodr at level 23:

I hate that, When I was a lowly level 7-8 tauren warrior I was corpse camped By I’m guessing what was a 60 gnome mage in bloodhoof village. He camped me for at least 6 times. That sucked but I agree with you make my life harder but not miserable.

One reason I rerolled to PvE :p
I have no problem PvP’ing, but that’s not PvP anymore, just mindless acting like a dumb***. But then again, we live on the planet earth, so there’s no escaping. Only PvE servers :pp

There are certain areas with certain characters that I will avoid because the pvp is so bad. Never bring a cloth wearer into STV. That is a golden rule. I had Schokti logged in for 4.5 minutes last night and had gotten ganked TWICE. Four and a half minutes. There is no shame.

The ganking has been amazingly *low* (for me anyway) since I transferred Sunforge to Burning Legion. I’ve gotten tagged once and the hunter that did it bowed to me after I rezzed and picked off stray mobs that aggro’d in my direction for me afterward. Guilt I guess.

Now that I’ve gone and actually stated this – I expect to get relentlessly ganked by a 70 gnome rogue wielding a egg-spoon or something.

Still – on Lightninghoof – where Sunforge was born – the ganking by 60+ characters in the badlands and ashenvale was just brutal.

I always thought RP-PvP servers were supposed to be ‘pvp with manners’ or something. I think the *real* ass-hats migrate to those realms.
