American Idol Predictions: Week 2 Final 11; Tuesday Morning

March 20, 2007 By Gitr 5 Comments

It’s time for my pre-show predictions that I just love to make before any performances. It really spices up the Tuesday show, for me at least.

So last week ended with the bottom three being Brandon (voted off), Phil Stacey, and Sanjaya Malakar. Stephanie Edwards had a rough Tuesday, in my opinion, and Haley Scarnato is on the bubble, too. Not knowing the genre tonight, I am having a bit of a tough time weeding out the weakest singer.

It could all go so wrong for different people, depending on tonight’s theme. Can you picture Gina Glocksen doing a love ballad, or Sanjaya doing country. I’m not even sure if LaKisha or Melinda would pull off country. Throw down with some gospel and we have a showdown! Haley certainly can’t do anything more of an edgy rock, and Sanjaya can’t sing over the band.

Iย have to blindly pick Phil as being the next one voted off based on his lower popularity with the 12-17 girl demographic than Sanjaya. I will put the pressure on Sanjaya and Stephanie that if they suck tonight, Phil is good and still manages to be remembered. Stephanie is a better singer, but Phil could pull on out of his hat that could trump her if she has an off night.

The poll on the Idol website is “British Pop Invasion Night will be:”…..Should be a good amount of variety in that theme, though I can’t wait to see who makes the worst/stupidest song choice.
I agree with ya on Phil, he left a bad taste in my mouth a couple weeks back and is yet to redeem himself. The whole novelty of him being the new Daddy and all wore off and I think Sanjaya might still have the numbers to hold out.

When the “End Times” come and the lord walks the Earth once again, He will look upon the programming we have watched in facination. His WRATH will befall all those who watch this heinous show. None shall feel mercy in His hands as he smites those makers of this ‘Idol’ that was raised above him and worshipped in his stead. These shall be the days of infamy when men and women alike will suffer the pain of those who must listen to those speaking of this ‘Idol’ as if it was sent from god Himself. Yeh though you walk through the valley of the shadow of Cowell you will here all the snide remarks his has made, and they will be addressed to you.

Never again shall you see the light of DAY!!!!

    YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!!!!
