Ding 64; Honored With Cenarian Expedition

March 23, 2007 By Gitr 7 Comments

Last night I finally found those Glowcaps and the Discarded Nutriment that I was looking for around Zangarmarsh. The glowcaps actually are everywhere, though I don’t know if you can pick them before attaining the quest without being an herbalist.

After those quests, soloing Boglash, and getting the “Count’s” mandible, I was at 99.9% xp, so I went and killed a Marsh Walker. I turned in some unidentified plant parts for the remaining 237 rep remaining to get me to Honored with Cenarian Expedition. Deadr sure is honored with a lot of factions, but isn’t even Revered with anyone. That must change in Outlands if I’m going to get the gear and weapons I want.

I’m loving playing Deadr again.

Well congrats on 64 I myself can’t get my main away from 54. How yoou got a warrior to 60 passes over my head cause it is so tedious.

Au contraire, ’tis not tedious at all. /wink

It was a friggin’ pain in the butt to get from 52 to 60. The most agonizing grinding through Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands. My mage friend blasted through those levels by frosting things before they ever touched him.

If I was to do it again without power-leveling with quests, I would run instances from 52 on. I was never lacking group invites, and I was always just wanting to level. My new rule that I should have implemented with Gitr is that they can invite me whenever, but I’m not coming to the instance and I’m not allowing them to summon until the group is full and present at the door. Too many hours and hearthstones are wasted with PuGs that never materialize or take an hour to get going.

Thats a good idea also I think I should maybe make a trip into Western Plaguelands. I have yet to go there.

Oh, man! There are quests galore there. The cauldron quests are repeatable, and there are 2 guys in EP that give great chains and stuff. One time I got 8 quests from the 2 of them and just ran around killing everything for credit.

Nice!! only problem I still have quests partially done completely flooding my log and I really want to get rid of them but as I said earlier so tedious. I am just not motivated enough to plug away for several hours and have it seem like nothing changed. Also I have this mage that has been taking up most of my playtime and I really like playing him.

You can pick the glowcaps with out the quest and with out being an herbalist. I had almost 45 before I could even turn them in . Also if you run Underbog at all be sure to pick up the Hibiscus’ in there. They are also for turn in to Sporragar. I think it becomes avilable at honored so stock up if yur runnin it.

Great! I’d like to get to Revered or Exalted with Cenarian Outpost so my healing gear will keep us alive if I’m the only healer in an instance.

Off-topic a bit, but my life would be a lot easier if PuG people would bandage as much as guild people do.
