WTB More Stables for Awesome Pets

March 24, 2007 By Gitr 1 Comment

My major gripe with the hunter is the lack of stable pens. WTB 15 Stable slots FTW. ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s really a needed improvement. I can’t see why they don’t want you to have multiple pets like you do weapons and armor because that is exactly what they are. Pets do damage and they take damage for you. Hunters should have one for every situation.

To limit someone to 3 pets is very…limiting. I am a big fan of boars as pets because of their durability and quick sprint into action. Then there is the bear for armor and, of course, the cat for damage. Grimr has messed around with trying a gorilla, raptor, croc, and spider, but those never seem to stick around like the others because I want those basic abilites.

What would be nice is to be able to vary your pet more based on those cool abilities that don’t carry over between pet types. One of my new favorites is Lightning Breath because it’s a ranged attack and I would like to be able to have a boar, bear, and cat safely put away and be able to use a Wind Serpent some time without losing one of those 3 pets.

It’s just going to get more difficult when I get unique pets that I love to go for. I’d love to have each of the Elite beasts at the end of the STV quests. You can be darn sure I’m going for that cat in Winterspring at the end of that long chain when the time comes for that.

Hunters unite! What are your feelings on the pet stable limit? Should they have more upgrade available or a questline to get an additional stable slot?

I dont see why its not like your bank where you more and more for the slots. Or maybe they could set it up so that each cities stables were not connected. Then you could have as many as three pets per stable master. that would be an idea.
