It was an epic drop in the Blood Elf starting area. I was sitting at an hour of play and had hit level 5 with this great drop of leveling supremacy fell. It has been a great 2 hours since then.
Last night, I wiped the [tag]Ruins of Silvermoon[/tag] area completely devoid of quests. I was level 7 before I left the Ruins. I went out and about questing some more and hit level 8 in 2h 11m of /played time with all of my UI issues the first day.
I logged off this morning a good chunk into level 9 in an inn with 2h 50m of /played time and hit Honored with Silvermoon City 2-3 quests ago. I REALLY, REALLY need a wand, but other than that, I’m golden.
I’ve heard from several of you that the guide (If you are horde, I promise you it is worth the investment…as I am a firm believer in not pumping something I have not tried myself. I paid the $37 for it and am loving it.) can be a bit difficult for non-hunters, but I will be testing it with both a hunter and a mage to compare. He does identify hunter-only quests, but I have not run into any that I can’t blast my way out of yet. I can’t wait for my lvl 10 skills. My stance on power-leveling is this: I have 2 60+ toons. I want to try other classes at 60+ without taking months to do it. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything by going fast. I know the principles of the classes by already having been a raider.
My biggest problem now is figuring out what I need to skip with Bloodr because I skipped huge chain quests early on that I can’t jump in on. I may need to play catch up so I can follow it easier. It may be worth it in the end.

I love the quests from 60-70 so far. I think if I ever get another character to 60, I won’t worry about using a leveling guide to get from 60-70. I wish there was some kind of 1-60 instant leve button, lol. Though leveling a character is good so you can learn the class (powerleveling FTL).
I totally agree with the instant 60 button. I want to roll a warrior on BL, but I DON’T want to level him to get to Outlands.
Our banker is a warrior. I may make him a twin. Now to find a place for the ‘r’… ๐
Jame’s guide start off from 21+ but the only thing that isn’t really tempting me to use it is because of the zone he uses to level. If you’re on a PvP server and is looking toward powerleveling your toon you will probably suffer a lot of your time using James guide to level at Hillsbrad. In the other hand Joana’s guide uses Stonetalon as the zone for leveling 21+ which is much better compared to Hillsbrad. Stonetalon is also contested but I haven’t seen much heavy PvP or high levels running around ganking lowbies. I am sure there will be some same level PvP going on, but it’ll definately speed up your leveling a lot faster compared to James. I’ve also notice James guide also ask you do some rediculous quests that are completed underwater, which is painful for many others that are not Undeads or playing as Warlock.
Anyway, I just felt like sharing my thoughts toward these guides. I personally prefer to use Joana’s and it’s definately worth getting.
I use to have an addon that would tell me which vendor sold the item I moused over. It stopped working and I removed a few patches ago. I went looking for it today and forget its name. Any ideas?
