Ding 22; Loving Teleport

April 6, 2007 By Gitr 16 Comments

/played:  20h 36m @ level 21.

After picking up my Staff of the Sun in Deatholme with the help of Jikksta and the willingness to take a zep by Kelthias, I finished out the questline by going to UC after I turned in Kel’gash’s Head. Of course, being in the mage quarters in SM simply meant using the orb to teleport to UC, walk over to the portal trainer, and learn the UC teleport spell.

After speaking to Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, I needed to go speak to Warchief Thrall in Org. Hmm…how should I best go about that? I opted for the instant teleport rather than waiting for a stupid blimp and all of that running involved. Then he wanted me to go back to SM! LOL. I teleported again, with much glee and delight.

I’m up in Ashenvale for now, but not for long, I think. I’ll get some pretty good questing done in The Barrens, I’m sure. What did you do last night?

Way to hit 30. It looks like I’ll have to split time between toons again.

I started the Burning Crusade with 25g to my name. My bdudy owed me 300g from about a year ago (when I quit the game and gave him all my gold) so he paid me that back. I managed to get my epic mount when I was about level 63 or 64. Even after buying the mount, I got enough money from questing and selling stuff to be able to buy my flying mount (and skills) the moment I hit 70.

What I’m saying is, don’t worry about gold for your mounts, you’ll be fine. Especially after you hit 70 and start getting gold from quests.

What do level 70 quests give you? Are we talking 12g or 50g?

Well… The quests I’ve done so far have landed me about 10g each. I have no idea if the reward goes up as you go into higher level areas. But even so, 10g a quest plus rewards is pretty freakin good.

There is one quest in my log listing as 20g!! But most are between 10-15g + rep & items.

As for what I did last night I held my new boy for a few hours. This is one rep grind I’m looking forward to.

I love the teleport. First thing I did after learning SM was to roll to the others and get thiers. Not sure what the beef is with having TB be a higher lever req.

    Digin the layout. Looking good.

    Now that’s a reward!

I would have gone from one place to the other right off, but I had a path to stick to, and it finally got ditched for an hour to go get that staff. I figured that as long as I was in SM, I might as well use the orb to go to UC in an instant.

Thanks. I sought the advice of a professional. The do-hickey at the top needs some work, but then again, it needs Photoshop. Home project.
