I bought more weapons and armor last night and got Deadr’s Enchanting up to 295. He needs to get the mats to make a Runed Arcanite Rod (ouch) and get the recipe for Enchant Cloak – Superior Defense. The guide I have says to see Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade, but I suspect I need to go elsewhere to get that for Deadr. She is listed as Neutral, though.
That will cost me 8 Illusion Dust per point, and it goes yellow at 305. I’ll be jumping for joy to get things going for enchanting stuff in Outlands and using those cool rep recipes. Now to work on my reps. Doh!
My suggestion, and how I did it, would be if you have a Druid you’re friends with, to ask them to go get it for ya and throw a G or two their way. It is extremely easy for a Druid to use the Teleport: Moonglade spell, in fact Druids get the spell very early on (teens I think), and then they can hearth back.
Although, if you have another recipe to get to 300 easier or have mats for I would recommend doing that, and once you hit 300 hit up the Ench trainer, get your new spells and have a ton of Arcane Dust handy, using those recipes it should be relatively easy to hit 300-320 with a few stacks of dust.
Good luck! The Ench grind is truly one I don’t like although worth it in the end.
Any clue how much getting a one handed sword enchanted with fiery would cost me?
The best I can find out from behind all the firewall crap here is that it is 4x Small Radiant Shards
1x Essence of Fire
That’s not much. I think those shards are between 1 and 3g on BL, and Essence of Fires are usually on the cheap, like 1g or less. I could be way off on the shards, but I don’t think they would possibly be more than 10g each. No way, no how, off the top of my head.
I think you’re right on the shards, but the Essence is typically 10G, on most servers I believe Enchanters charge around 25-30G, but the mats alone are typically around 20G.
thanks
You should be able to fly to moonglade there is a horde flight path there and they are all neutral except the alliance flightpath guy.
I got it. Shall be posting the story when I get into the office. Yay.
Nice Congrats
Jikk, sorry about that post in moderation. I never got the e-mail notification. I have lots of Arcane Dust from dusting all of my 60+ gear that had been sitting in my bags before, but I use some every time I make an Imbued Netherweave item. I checked the price of 60+ armor, and they start at 5g, but the one piece I bought this morning gave me 4 Arcane Dust.
