Ding 11; Huntr Is Hunting Away

April 19, 2007 By Gitr 13 Comments

I finished his level 10 quest this morning and dinged 11 (/played 4h 5m, putting him 18m ahead of Frostr) just in time to log off and go to work. I was unable due to a complete lack to funds to have gear good enough to do some of the quests that I wanted to at the proper level, but now that I have a pet, I’ll tear right through them.

I also confirmed that my instructions on my Level 10 Blood Elf Hunter Quest Walkthrough are correct, and I took more screenshots to prove it. If it’s not working this way, one of two things is happening: you are not level 10 or you are not a hunter. If those two things are not the case, then contact a GM and tell them Gitr sent you. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m posting these shots and stuff in the walkthrough when I’m done here.

Sorry, it’s taken me so long to get to this. I’m working on a pet project for the day. Man, I need content bad…so it will be a while for the unveiling.

Are any of you using the guide now? Mind…er…Ravenkiller said he’s not going to powerlevel and just take it easy. I’m going to use the banker to make money (so don’t send him money after we get the guild) so Huntr is all leveling and his professions.

I’m a bit ticked that my herbalism isn’t high enough to get briarthorn in Ghostlands. I hope there are other herbs there, but I was too busy killing this morning to notice any other herbs.

I got up to about 50 silver after training, but I need to train level 14 tonight.

Calling me Mindkiller is acceptable since I wont be changing my sig here or in the forums……I will preface all comments for Ravenkiller with his name so there is no confusion with my other chars.
As for the guide….me buying it would be a waste. I have the strategy guide for the Expansion and it covers the starting areas for the Draeni and Belfs pretty well. After that meh Ill deal with it. Most things will be lead ons till we get to 30-32 and have to venture into STV. Looking forward to goin back there. I plowed through that place on several characters so fast it wasn’t funny. Not because it was bad but because of the ton of quests used to level.

I know if i had the money to spend on The Guide I still wouldnt use it. It would be a money hole for me. I have tons of Guides for other games i have played. With my memory, I end up using them once then not needing them again….ever. Thas just how I roll. Course if i get stuck there is always Thott or Alla. Go these bad boys speed dialed. and hot keyed…….well maybe not hot keyed……
