Today is a big day for the family. My wife has a group interview with one of the big banks this morning and I have orientation at USF. It’s going to be a very long day with both of us being so busy and me getting home late.
Her interview is at one of the branches, apparently with other applicants in the area for various positions, so it’s not like she is directly competing in the interview. She’s pretty nervous, being her first corporate interview, but heck, she took a college course on this stuff. She’ll do awesome.
I have to be at USF a tad before lunch to get a parking spot and head over to the Subway at the English building before heading over to the Sun Dome for sign-in for Orientation at 1:30. Around 4:00 we are allowed to make a mad rush for the college advisors to get registered.
Two problems:
- My section is already full, and therefore closed.
We won’t have enough money by the due date for me to attend Summer B
I’m sure I can get into my section with advisor approval, but I have no idea how we’re going to pull off problem #2. Time to trust, I suppose. If the money’s not there, I’ll just hold off until Fall, I guess. It got me pretty bummed now, but there isn’t anything I can do about it, so it is just time to take a chill pill.
I have tomorrow off for vacation to be with the wife on her birthday. We’re going to the beach and the weather looks like it’s going to be great. I have a gift card left over for some butt-busting work at the office so I can take her out to dinner.
Sounds like a fun couple of days ๐
Beats work any day imo. Have fun.
School….bad. No like books. Books good for one thing: Fire for the eating and cooking of bunnies. Grrr. Fall good time for school though. Lots of good looking chikcas to oogle over……mmmmm hot chickas. If you cook them with school books……mmmm tasty.
Conclusion:
School = Bad
School books = Good Fire
Hot Chickas = mmmm
Hot Chickas Over School Books On Fire = Priceless
