I hit 37 last night with a total of 2d 7h 28m /played time. Arathi Highlands was getting quite boring killing raptor after raptor trying to get 12 raptor hearts. After all of that work, when I got to Hammerfall and started turning in the quests, it looked like a ding was approaching, and it did. I got my First Aid up though Triage in Hammerfall now, so now I need to start killing more mageweave mobs to get FA up to 300. Right now I only have 5 mageweave, and that’s just not going to cut it.
On the UI note, it looks like I needed the Gamma version of Auctioneer and to give the rest of the developers time to get a chance to pick at their code. I would say more than half of the plugins work now, and made life a tad more bearable.
I logged out in Alterac Mountains on my way to Dalaran, but stopped to get Frostmaw. I logged to get him this morning.
What did you do last night?
I took some time out with Morpheuz (Warrior) to try and get my first part of the key frag for Kara. This was prob my first bad PUG group. There was 2 warrior, a mage, pally and hunter. The hunter did the marking but the mage was late on the sheeps and I don’t think the other warrior picked up his mark, and the hunters ice trap was maybe like 3 seconds. Turns out the second boss killed us and the rest of the instance respawned.
Saintnic (Mage) took a trip to Exodar to pick up some mage training and picked up portal training. I was happy to pick up the blizzard spell and a few other spells.
I’m thinking I need to concentrate on getting my flying mount. However the gold incentive for completing quests is just not the same as experience.
Created a warlock this morning just so I can see what that puppy could do. Picked up the imp quest and was level 4 when I logged.
That was it for me.
Funny. I spent about 90 minutes last night killing raptors in Arathi to get Raptor Hearts. I am also a skinner/leatherworker and collected three stacks of Heavy Leather. There were a couple other Hordies there doing the same, so we helped each other out and I was able to skin ’em all.
Started my run to Gadgetzan to do some cooking training, but was ganked in east 1000 Needles by a ?? Priest . . . not doing the lord’s work, as I see it. It’s a long run from the graveyard so I got bored and logged before making it back to my corpse. I always feel a little guilty logging back on in ghost form. ๐
I have been letin Ravekiller collect some rested exp by playing yet another alt. I started a human warlock on Velen named Vultar about 2 weeks ago. I took him to the Draeni starting area after i got him to 6. Its kinda tough for skill training but with FPs i manage to get back to IF for the training. I played him pretty hard last night, went from 13 3/4ths to 18 9/10ths. I like the Draeni area….but it seems more spread out then the Belf’s area. More running around and some frustrating drop dependent quests. I am almost finished with the last few 16-20 quests before i move on to another zone. I was so into the questing and leveling i managed to get from 14-18 without training skills. I just kept using the same 3 dots and wanding. I died a lot but blasted trhough the quests and made almost 5g before i was 17. I will prolly dip back onto Raven tonight, he should be a full rested by now. He needs to farm up 120+silk for Joly to get to making mageweave bags.
@ Morpheus – PuGs SUCK!! ๐
@ Dragg – Thanks for dropping by. I am really not a fan of drop-rate dependent quests any more. Sometimes I’m done way before the guide and I have to grind and other times it takes me an hour longer than the guide because I’m still killing things. I’m convinced speed runs are partially based on randomness.
@ Mind – I could start a Dranai priest now. ๐ When I move Gitr over, I’ll have a warrior/priest combo on Alliance side.
I actually got to play for about an hour..i got home a bit late and had to pick up my fiance from work at 6…but an hour was enough to get a few things done, hooked up with a guy in UC who made me a nice Green Helm with some decent attributes and armor value..better than what i was carrying. I then went to the AH to see if they had any better weapons and armor..came across a better helm than the one the guy made me and a sweet sword. But lvl 29 (my next level) was required. I was really close, but not enough time at that time to level. So last night after i spent QT with my woman, i got back on around 10ish..and got some help from my guild to complete a quest and killed some beasts..turned it in with the hopes of dinging…nope! Only one bar to go..so i did one last quest..and yes! Finally! it brought me lvl 29…and i got to put on my aewsome helm and equip my new sword…so i’m 29 now wit new gear and i’m ready to take on Ashenville..i’m asleep right now in the Splintertree post Inn ๐
jeeze, gitrs, l2p. lol. i got frostmaw at 30 on my hunter. =P but, i have no place to tlk, as your time is beating mine. im at 33 1/2, and at 2 days. although, those many WC runs could have something to do with that. lol
