Ding 47; Quest Log Is Busting Open

June 13, 2007 By Gitr 9 Comments

I dinged last night after about 5 minutes with 3d 14h 57m /played time. Then it was party time to turn in all of the quests in my log. It was getting ridiculous, with quests all over Azeroth to turn in.

I made my way back to STV to continue several more quests after turning in about 10 of these. I am still missing one part of a 3 item quest for Maurey’s Clubbed Foot, I believe. I have a ring and something else, but I didn’t wait around long enough at one place for the item to drop. Luckily, there is another quest near there for tonight, so I’ll hearth back after I get the item to get the next leg of the quest.

I logged off this morning at 55% of the way through level 47 with barely over an hour of playing time and checked to see that I have over 120g on Velen to play around with. I am getting frustrated with Herbalism and may pick up Tailoring. The only thing stopping me from doing that is having two tailors when I transfer Deadr will be a waste.

What did you do last night?

Try and stick it out with alchemy – it is worth it. I have rarely found heal pots in the outlands and one can make a killing selling hard to find pots. As well most pots over the 300 mark rock.

I just hit 44 in Feralas. On the plus side, a Woodpaw Gnoll dropped the Dazzling Longsword: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=869. Currently at the AH for a cheap $88g buyout.

Last night I really got into the leveling groove. I am now 3 bars away from 50, and I think I’m going to go play, I can’t wait for The Beast Within.

BTW, keep up the good work Gitr, you’ll be 70 on that hunter in no time.

Christine – Alchemy’s not the problem. It’s the running around lowbie zones to level up my Herbalism that is going to kill me. Then again, Deadr was going nuts not being able to mine things in Outlands, so maybe I will just suck it up when I hit 60 and end my time trial then.

Dragg – I’ve bought that sword before, but never been granted it as a drop. Great boost to your coffers. Do you already have your mount?

    Thanks for stopping by.

Nick – Awesome leveling! Are you in school or something?

    /suspicious glancing around

I wish I had time to play like that. I could go 3 levels in as long as I put in at a day at the office.

I was able to get into a Botanica run last night on Gnome Mindkiller. Nice place. We had
    2 70 rogues
    1 70 Bear Drood
    1 70 Ret Pally
1 70 Preist who i think was shadow.

Cake instance very pretty and easy to blow through. We only wiped twice due to bad pulls and missteps. One of which was mine. Bosses are easy with just a little strategy needed. Ocourse nothing for any of us dropped. Vender trash BOP Blues payed for the run. Took a little over an hour for a full clear. I have been funneling all my cloth to Snowstormers main for her tailoring. She has made over 500g on Imbued Netherweave bags thanks to me. Mindkiller is sitting on 3100g. Just a few more k gold an I can start the Netherdrake grind. I will prolly dip into the profits from the bags at the last to buy a Swift flyer as it will help in the grinding. I also plan to have enough to buy snow an epic ground mount so she can get around better when we quest together(Rare though it is now)

I hit level 39 last night..

My play time may be close to yours.. we will see when I catch up to ya. I’m just happy that i’m done with Dustwallow marsh (I’ve always hated that zone!)

Last night I worked toward 62 with my original main, an undead rogue. I forgot how much I love rogues, lol. I finally respecced back to combat/assassin for the grind up to 70 – much easier to level than mutilate.

Also, I finally started using the WoW Ace Cartographer addon, along with the quest database from their website – I was able to complete about 5 quests in an hour that I had been scratching my head over for a (sadly, as I’m pretty dim-witted, lol) long time. It’s pretty neat. As in, pretty neat = the most useful mod I’ve ever used.
