It’s MINE! My Mage’s Battle Baton

July 2, 2007 By Gitr 5 Comments

With the help of some Core guildies, I got my today. Crugg and Wakarathe and I took down the next 3 bosses, but needed to call in a trial member (sorry I didn’t get a screenshot to capture your name) to take down the final boss in awesome fashion. He was a 70 Druid and took the heals as I donned full Shadow glory and VE’d and simply MB’d and Melted Face the whole time. So we 3-manned it (with a close call several times) until the last boss.

There were always no less than 4 Alliance players around, but they were just waiting until their help came. I think when they inspected Crugg, they decided against making any aggressive moves. ๐Ÿ™‚

I got 70g, sold over 20 bags, and got this to bring my spell crit rate up 5% to 16.33%.

I took a break from the repin for the netherdrakes…did a few of thier quests. I helped a guildie farm 7 primal fires up in Blades edge. He was crafting an epic maul for a customer. A 67 frost age and an Assassin Rogue, poor elementals went down like weeds. Took us 1 hour to farm 7 primal, where it took me 4 hors to do the same solo.
I was thinking of a post today…but I think I will wait till tomorrow so i can get some screens. I want to show off my spiffy new goggles. Im almost back up to 1000g. I would have been but i Loaned/gave a friend 300 and the wife 70 so they could get theier mounts. Im such a softy.

Nice staff. I take it meaty items like this are scaled depending on the owner? My wee Mage would topple over if he tried to wield this!

Hey guys. It’s a slow day, I guess. I thought such an uber staff would get things jumping. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It was fun to arrive at the Ring of Blood and have someone start buying ALL of my bags up in the AH. Waka saw them a few minutes earlier and asked if I was still rich. He’s much richer right now because they are screaming through the end-game instances a few nights per week.

I’m getting quite tired of getting ganked by 70s in Nagrand and looking forward to hitting 66+. My Shadow Fiend will be a welcome buddy. Velen is still untransferrable as of this morning’s check.

My next post will be a step by step guide to this quest series. It was fun, but I didn’t have time to get it all down for today.

@ Burpo, yes almost all stuff like this are scaled for dwarves and gnomes. You can always compare with a commonly found cheap item from the AH and put it on a gnome and an elf to see.
