Ding 37; Really Itching to Equip My Epic

October 18, 2007 By Gitr 11 Comments

One more level to go for my Ardent Custodian MH mace. I read that it is likely the best pre-MC tanking mace available. I haven’t checked that claim, though I saw that one from Dire Maul has good stats but loses the Defense.

I’ve been 37 for about 3 hours now, and can take on Elites multi-levels above Paladr. I’m testing to see what is the highest melee Elite I can down. He can do a 38 with over half health and half mana left. Both could be higher, but I was getting bored and used some spells. I can wear down anything that doesn’t hit harder than my Seal/Judgement of Light + Bubble/Healing. When Redoubt is up, I’m at 40% blocking, have 9% parry and dodge, a 20 point Mithril Spike, 2200HP, and 1700 mana.

It’s class night tonight, so we’ll see how much playing time I get in when I get home. Tomorrow is a busy Friday before a weekend vacation.

Thanks. It would have been harder if I’d been watching it instead of running SM Library and Armory with Phil. Now I don’t have to suffer through the TiVo. I turned off the radio on my way home when we blocked the FG and “ran” it back for the reviewed touchdown. I didn’t want to hear the ruling so I’d have more drama watching it today.

    /sigh

My bad i didn’t realize you were the guy that needs to see it yourself. I’m sorry.

Oh, no… I heard it on the radio on the way to work. I knew there was no way to keep everyone quiet at work today, so I left the newsradio on.

But, yes, I’m usually like that. If I record an afternoon game, I’ll usually watch it the next morning by getting up early. It was quite a way to watch Auburn beat UF.

If you hear people talkng about the game do you pull a jimmy fallon and stick your fingers in your ears and yell so you don’t hear what happened?

Usually by then it’s too late because the score or the outcome was the first thing out.

I do it for show previews for the next week, though. I’m a big fan of hitting pause, jumping up, and going into the bathroom with the fan on while my wife ruins the experience by herself. I can’t stand to see previews. I know it’s a good show, so you don’t need to convince me to tune in next week.

Thats funny my wife uses the previews as a way to pump herself up even more.

Ah I see you guys are American football fans then? My bro’supports the redskins…have I got the right sport here?!…I’m a ‘soccer'(hate that term) fan.

Had it bad with England losing to Russia & Liverpool with a hard game at the weekend being the derby.

Sorry to hear about your team. I read about your Liverpool FC from time to time, but since the only things I know about soccer are 1) no hands and 2) cover your jewels on penalty kicks, I can’t really figure it all out.

It would have been good if we’d come up with another name than football since the rest of the world already calls soccer that. I guess that means American Soccer came after football and when we wanted to play round football someone crapped themselves when they realized they had to make up a new name.

Ah DM I love soccer I played for 13 years as I was growing up. I too wish that us americans would have come up with a different name for football like ackwardly shaped ball that doesn’t roll and rarely touches anyones foot. Unfortunately they don’t show enough soccer here for me to watch but hopefully if I get orders to the UK I will watch it more often.

Jesse those are just the basics remember this Soccer is a huge game of Geometry there are triangles everywhere, and its really fun to wait for someone that pissed you off to go up for a header and then step under them and bendover so they roll off your back. Red Card worthy but fun.
