I got Deadr up to level 16 last night, making him my highest-level PvP avatar. I found the apothecary I was seeing the dot for in Undercity, too. That was tricky. ๐ Now, just to find some PuGs to run Deadmines over and over again to get Cookie’s Stirring Rod.
I got to 15 by running all of the Arugal quests by and in the cave by the Sepulcher. I found those guys by accident and found them to be pleasing to my XP and just right for maximum fun without stopping. At level 14, I finally realized that my wand was as powerful as my Mind Blast, so I should just save the mana. Unless I was in the cave and facing the possiblity of a re-pop right next to me, I even stopped using my bubble to minimize waiting and any mana usage at all. It’s quite silly to have 954 mana and never stop killing at your level and never get below 75% mana and 90% health. Boy does that change later on ๐ That fun stopped after turning in the last quest to that guy before he tried to send me down to the village outside SFK. Time to go to Kalimdor, methinks.
My Kalimdor adventures started with flying back to the Crossroads. First, I dropped off 2 delivery quests and headed West to the Oasis for some fungus. I killed raptors and striders along the way and had 3 quests to turn in when I got back to Crossroads. Then it was back out there to kill the zevbrahs, and then again to kill the prowlers, and AGAIN to kill Echeyakee, who was quite possibly the biggest let down of any “go kill that big bad end of questline monsters” I can think of. I even drew an add and slaughtered both of them in 30 seconds. After that, it was just a matter of going to kill the scytheclaw raptors and look at their nests for the level-up. It was 10:00 and time to hit the hay for work.
