I just read on WoWinsider.com that changes are coming for professions. After reading all of that, the only change I may make to my professions is to actually fish now. I know, I know, it’s a great money-maker, but I just can’t stay awake after 8pm sending out a lure, wait 30 seconds while intently trained on the bobber, and then clicking it IF it moves. While 20 seconds isn’t short, it’s a lot shorter.
Are you going to make any changes/switches in your professions because of the upcoming changes?

Talk about aggro zone! I can’t bend over to loot without aggroing another one of those stupid harpies roaming on patrol. It took me waaay too long to hit 24 because my spells were too weak for the area, so I teleported to Org to train and only got in improved fireball. ๐ At least I got a talent point to put in Frost, increasing Frostย damage another 2%.

Based on the feedback yesterday, I spent the last 2 hours tweaking my CSS files and politely cursing my CSS skills as I kept hacking away at padding and ids and classes until I got what you see in the upper right corner. I will update it as often as I like, and will entertain putting up your screenshots if they rock. The only thing to consider for them is that they should look good in a 2.5:1 width:height ratio.
Thanks for all the suggestions yesterday, and I would consider this a smashing start for my new weekly feature.

I was having a chat with Liz on Friday afternoon about the SOBCon 07 and I mused that there might be an awful lot of people pulling all-nighters in the cafe or out on the town doing networking like bloggers have never done. I imagine that a very high percentage of us will be getting to bed after midnight, if at all, because we can’t stop talking about relationship blogging, tools, article features, and stuff we haven’t even dreamed of yet.
Then I had a funnier thought. How many of us will go to our rooms, jump on each others’ blogs and do the same thing, introvertedly? ๐ Just a thought. We are bloggers, after all.

Today I’m kicking off a new series: Reader Participation Monday. Today’s topic is blog avatars.
I have noticed that all of the “good” blogs that make a strong connection with their readers have a beautiful mug shot of the author on the front page. /Gulp. Gitr is one fine looking dude, and Bloodr is smoking hot, but face it; they aren’t pounding the keyboard.
Many of you have noticed that I have a nice mug of my wedding photo in my tux on my About Me page, but that requires a click to make a reader connection.
