I still have not rolled a Draenai on Kargath yet. It has been something I have wanted to do, but I don’t want to abandon my friends on Burning Legion for weeks on end. I keep seeing them running around and thinking they look pretty cool, and I have heard really good things about the starting area in Exodar from Mystic Worlds.

I also wanted to roll a Blood Elf mage to venture into frostiness, and I finally did that last night.

So…what do YOU still have to do?

I was highly entertained on my way to work yesterday when I heard this guy talking to our 970 WFLA A.M. Tampabay people about a new site called Weblo (pronounced “web-low,” you sickies 🙂 ) They went on do discuss how you buy the rights to build a page for a particular geographic region, say a city or state, and make it into whatever you think people will want to visit.

Instead of trying to reword the “big picture” of what this is all about, here is what they say:

Weblo.com is a Virtual World where members get paid while building pages and profiles on their favorite people, cities, states and internet domain names. Weblo is a replica of the real world – part game, part community and all fun.

Weblo Members add videos, photos, news, blogs and build networks of people around their pages and all they own. My major gripe with the hunter is the lack of stable pens. WTB 15 Stable slots FTW. 🙂 That’s really a needed improvement. I can’t see why they don’t want you to have multiple pets like you do weapons and armor because that is exactly what they are. Pets do damage and they take damage for you. Hunters should have one for every situation.

To limit someone to 3 pets is very…limiting. I am a big fan of boars as pets because of their durability and quick sprint into action. Then there is the bear for armor and, of course, the cat for damage. Grimr has messed around with trying a gorilla, raptor, croc, and spider, but those never seem to stick around like the others because I want those basic abilites.

I have been kicking back and forth blogging and gaming ideas with one of my fellow bloggers (who shall remain anonymous because I did not ask permission to divulge our conversations) about new toons, blogs, guilds, forums, etc. Those ideas floating around in my head and occassionally sticking to my retina *highly annoying* got me on the topic of names again.

The old question we always see on the blogs is, “What’s in a name?”

My new question is, “Is your name your brand?”

For example, when the speed leveler, Joana creates a new toon on a new realm to be the first one to 70, he always uses one of two names: Joana and Mancow. It is his brand. Whatever server he goes to, people know to look for Mancow or Joana to see what the competition is. I suppose I am trying to build a brand, of sorts with my blog, as readership increases and I’m getting more involved in blogging my GM’ing and new toons.

I took Tomas’ tip yesterday to look for Humar the Pridelord. It was about 9:45 server time when I made my way to Ratchet from Crossroads and looked for him. The coords were right, but there were only a ton of Patriarch, Lionesses, and Cubs around the big tree. Not to be dismayed, I figured that I would log out right there and come back every time I logged in to see if Humar is there, since I am sticking to leveling Deadr for a while.

For those who don’t know where to find this magnificant beast (which I am going out on a limb and saying he’s the best cat until you can get King Bagthera), I can tell you exactly where he is. When you fly or ship into Ratchet, take the road West toward Crossroads. Just after the buildings of town, head to the right to run along the plateau wall on the North side of the road. After a hundred yards or so is one way to the top. You can see a HUGE tree with a trunk about 50 feet in diameter with about 20 lions of various types wandering and resting. He should be under there if he is spawned. Reports vary, but is is safe to say he has a 12 hour timer.

I logged in this morning at 4:00am server time, took one look, and this is what I saw:
