American Idol: Week 2 Women’s Night

March 1, 2007 By Gitr 5 Comments

It was another night of met expectations, and even a couple of suprises for me. First, my expections that were met:

  1. The previously mentioned black women rocked.
  2. Antonella SUCKED!!
  3. Leslie is still a karioke singer.

I was pretty suprised by several things: [Read more…] about American Idol: Week 2 Women’s Night

Chinglish? Try Itlish

March 1, 2007 By Gitr 3 Comments

I found a trackback for my blog to MondoBlog.it and had to go to Google Translation to figure out what it says. As I read it, I couldn’t help but post the translation here for you to enjoy. It’s a little off-topic, but here goes:

World of Warcraft (literally “the world of Warcraft”, sometimes abbreviated in WoW) more famous game online for multiplayer, that it counts eight million players all over the world. Giocabile exclusively in Internet and behind payment of a canone, is developed from the Blizzard Entertainment and has been published in 2004. The game has one graphical three-dimensional that concurs with the player to dip itself in the universe of Warcraft, acclimatization of three previous videogiochi Blizzard.

I especially like “concurs with the player to dip itself.”

I Love Netherweave Cloth

March 1, 2007 By Gitr 1 Comment

I realized that the market for Netherweave Bags was good enough for a sizable profit over mats on BL. I took my 100g and whittled it down to 31g and also bought some leather that is supposed to sell well, but hasn’t yet. I bought up Netherweave Cloth like crazy. I made 2 bags for Jikksta for last night’s witty answer to my contest and sold 3 more. They sold just as I hearthed back to Shattrath City.

Not being one to miss out on a good thing, I went back to Undercity to buy more cloth and sold 6 more. I also posted a wand that had been giving me AH trouble before and sold it for 110g. This morning, I bought 12 stacks of cloth and made a pair or Netherweave Pants and Netherweave Gloves to hit 340 Tailoring and made 10 more Netherweave Bags. I bought the recipe for Imbued Netherweave Bags on the AH right then and there.

American Idol Is Crack on TV

February 28, 2007 By Gitr 16 Comments

That’s become one of my sayings lately. I have never watched an entire season of American Idol before. I’ve seen the beginning a couple of times, the middle once or twice, and the final 4-6 probably 3 times. I’ve seen every minute of the show this year and I’m loving it. I’m still enthralled with the “making a success” idea and it’s cool to see these people becoming successful. No matter what happens at this point, none of their lives will be the same after this because they have had way over 15 minutes of fame.

I REALLY liked the gas station attendant and Sundance Head from the try-outs and was supremely pissed that they had to face off together as the 12th man at the end of Hollywood week. To make matters worse, I didn’t think Sundance did well after his initial audition, either, so seeing the gas guy go was bothering me.

Until last night. [Read more…] about American Idol Is Crack on TV

Buttered Monkeys Is Up To 12 Members

February 28, 2007 By Gitr 3 Comments

Our current roster is up to 12 members now, with Lance still looking to join whenever we can catch him online. Tomas is working on getting us a channel on his main’s Vent server, but he has to get permission from the other guildies because they all split the cost. Our guild forums are up and running smoothly with no spam or glitches that I’m aware of.

Ding 22; Making Neatherweave Bags for the Guild

February 27, 2007 By Gitr 5 Comments

I dinged 22 before jumping back on Deadr to craft more bags for my guildies. I moved over to The Barrens because of all the camping 60-70s at Tarren Mill. Can anyone within the sound of my voice explain to me how killing level 21s of the other faction in their lowbie zones can possibly be a fun way to spend the evening? It’s beyond me. No challenge, no loot, no rep, no honor. I’ll say it here as plainly as I can…IDIOTS camp lowbie zones. Not just one person, either. It was about a dozen of them wearing MC/BWL gear.
