What are your plans for the expansion?
No thank you. I will take a vacation day on the 17th and actually get to play all day. My wife thinks it’s silly, because I can just play in the evening. But that’s really not true, because evenings are filled with spending time with her, eating, and getting to bed by 8 or 9pm. Vacation. January 17th. Yup. That’s what I’ll do.
One more profession
I have decided that I will drop skinning and take up a crafting profession. I am interested in several, but I just can’t decide. I have enough money to get going on them. Please help!
- Engineering: I have never done this past 120 or so. I have seen some cool things, but are there any good priest items that I would benefit from that require Engineering to wear?
- Alchemy: Potions and Elixirs, DUH! (I’m not too concerned about it, though, because Aeigelus is an Alchemist)
- Enchanting: I would like some good enchants on my gear.
Feralas is marvelas
That is, if you don’t get killed. I made it to Camp Mojache last night and picked up 4 quests before I logged. This morning I flew to Orgrimmar with a shrunken head and flew back to turn it in. It looks like Feralas should keep me busy for quite a while, so I think I will make Org my hearth again.
I should get some stuff posted today, but my big project is my new theme for the blog.ย With the benefit of hours upon hours of contemplating what my wife doesn’t like about most blogs, I hope I have things figured out. I honestly have no idea if I will get done with it today, or if what I am attempting to do is possible with my coding experience.
You know, WoW is still fun
I had a piss-poor day yesterday. I went into the office at 6:30am and left at 10:15pm…and no fun inbetween. I’ll write more about that in my next post, but this is about having FUN! I went straight to bed and tossed and turned for an hour as my brain tried to reboot.

Badlands, for some time
I’m back in the saddle again this morning and went to Badlands. I went to the whelps area to the East and found a pillar that needed me to get a quest item. I went back to Kargath and picked up the quest. It was called ‘Broken Alliance.’ I needed to kill Boss Tho’grun and bring the Sign of the Earth to Gorn in Kargath.ย I went to kill the boss by the camp and a rogue and I grouped up. He was a level 43 rogue, and he said to stand back and keep him healed. As soon as did my first flash heal on him, the 4 mobs that he didn’t have aggro on came to me. They beat my bubble down every 5 seconds until I died. The rogue killed Boss and vanished. I ran back and the guards were gone, so we looted him.
I’ll do the next quest in the line when I get home.
I’m sorry this is short and vague, but we have a 300-page proposal document to clean up today and put together into out 5-700-page submittal. It will be a long day.
UPDATE:
It HAS been a crazy day! I edited the 300 pages and now we’re moving on to more docs. Stuff needs to be done tonight to get to the print department so it can go out the door by noon tomorrow. We signed our timesheets for the month-end already and we put down that we are leaving at 9pm. The VP is buying us all dinner, too. ๐
