Level 26 in 1d 2h 18m. It was a tad slow, but wait until you see how slow 27 is going to be. I got the guild going and died 4 times trying a quest in Ashenvale. I’m wiped and have work early in the morning.

I would have to log into Frostr to see what his level 25 /played time was, but Huntr got to level 25 in under a day. 23h 56m to be exact. I would also say that was still a far from perfect run to 25. I have died at least 15 times, trained unnecessarily, and not completed some group quests. I expect that my pace will get a tad better as I earn more gold on the AH to fund better gear and such. It’s high time to create a personal bank alt, as using Butterbanker would be downright wrong. 🙂
I am a bit off-pace with Joana’s Horde guide because I now have to grind 60% to get to where it says I need to be. I will likely be going to [tag]Thunder Bluff[/tag] tonight to train Guns and Staffs when I turn in a quest and accept a couple more, including the always fun, [tag]Steelsnap[/tag]. Still, being off-pace, I am able to grind at a blinding pace, with [tag]FuExperience[/tag] saying that I will ding in about an hour more at my current rate. It was a long night of logging in and out of Huntr in Org to get the charter signed and touching up my new UI. I was going back and forth between [tag]Huntr[/tag] and Butterbanker to minimize my downtime with Huntr to keep things as accurate as possible for his leveling tracking. We need 3 more signatures for the guild, but I was too tired this morning to get up early and play.
[tag]Charred Vale[/tag] was another huge pain in the butt, but not as much as it was with Frostr. I’m supposed to grind to within 3 bars of 25 now, and I sure wasn’t going to stay there to do it. The graveyard is about 1/2 mile away. One graveyard for [tag]Stonetalon Peak[/tag] is utterly ridiculous, especially since the GY is nowhere near any dangerous mobs. If you die from the spiders near the GY, then you suck or you weren’t paying attention at all. Bottom line.
I’ve got a couple of quests I can finish up there that aren’t a part of the guide, otherwise/afterward, I think I will grind Quillboars in [tag]The Barrens[/tag] or the miners and others around Bael Modan. I really need to get my [tag]Herbalism[/tag] up over 70 to continue picking flowers where I will be headed. I keep finding flowers that are showing up as red to me, and that’s just plain unacceptable. 🙂

Ah, yes! That place that is a charred aggro monkey-killing aggro-feasting place of a poopoo-head! I HATE that place! I’m going there anyway. I have 3 quests to complete, and it’s for nice XP. This time, I’m going to kill EVERYTHING in sight so it can’t sneak up on me. I’m lagging a bit behind on the level for where I am quest-wise for the guide. I guess I got some drops before normal, so I didn’t have to kill as many mobs to complete the quests.
I must have died 3 times this morning…yup. Three. So much for uber-ness. Of course, a new UI change like that is enough to distract even the most seasoned gamer. It’s kind of like wrecking your new Porche because you’re admiring the stitching on your leather-wrapped steering wheel instead of looking at the road. I paid the price with 3 very, very long corpse runs. I dinged somewhat early this morning (I guess I was closer than I thought last night when I was playing around with the UI) and got all distracted and pissed at the UI for not being able to see the result when I /played. I finally exited and loaded up Fu-Experience so I could see it on FuBar again. I dinged at 18h 55m according to my wonderfully-informative UI setup. Man, starting from scratch has its growing pains. Of course, I’ve been shoveling all of my money to Butterbanker to pay the Guild Tax, which, I can proudly say: We have enough money now! Now for the signatures. RL has been kind of crazy lately, and since I’ve only got 8 of you on my Friends list, I’m guessing you’re all in the same boat. We need 6 new sigs, so if you haven’t signed, I’m coming for you :).
Not really, though, because I’m on the clock, so to speak. Last night, I hit 21 with 15h 17m /played time, which I was totally happy with my time improvement over Frostr’s time. I don’t quite remember where I dinged, but I do remember the fun I had last night doing what I shouldn’t have…

I hit 20 this morning, (/played 13h 49m) after I should have done it last night in Deatholme. I made my way through all of the troll Ghostlands quests yesterday morning and then was ready for the stuff around the Southern areas in the evening.
I got him through all of those quests and into Deatholme in pretty good time. We welcomed our newest member into our friends list, since we still don’t have the guild up yet. Huntr was sitting at 68% of 19 and he needed to turn in all of the quests for Deatholme to ding. This was the first time I had been all the way through Deatholme without a single death, and I was quite pleased with myself.
I was waiting for the last of Dar’Khan’s Lieutenants to respawn (for about 15 minutes) and decided that after the entire building repopped twice, he was either on a different timer or he was bugged. I turned in my one quest I had from there and made my way to Orgrimmar. In hindsight, I should have just kept killing things around there and dinged earlier and been right by the trainer in SM on my way to the Translocator. As it was, I had a way to go until 20.
