I got on tonight with Mindkiller and his wife, Snowstormer. They are both 17s as a rogue and mage, respectively. We took Deatholme by storm and took out Dar’Khan after several bad respawns. I learned a lot about pulling as a hunter in groups and they were quite patient with my mistakes that killed us 4 times. ๐
I got the Farstrider’s Longbow and dinged when I turned in the quest. I noticed that I have 500 rep to go for exalted with Tranquillien, so I’m off to see if I can get the rest.

We got home at 7pm last night just as it started to sprinkle in our development. We had gone from -11 Celsius Saturday morning to 78 degrees Farenheit last night. What a nice change for the body and car.
I got on to play Deadr this morning and got his Tailoring up to 327 to make some more of the Netherweave gear and realized that I need to level him to wear any more of it. Dang! I am having so much fun playing Bloodr and being GM, the break was nice. I guess it is time to give Deadr play time in the morning and Bloodr time at night.
I found the Burstcap mushrooms just West of Zabra’jin in about 3 minutes. That was eaily the fastest collection quest I have ever had. [Read more…] about 3,198 Miles Down; 372,286 XP to Go

I haven’t made it back to the trainers yet, but I got to Silvermoon before logging. It’s time for bed to see what neat tricks I’ve learned.
Thanks for all of the support of the guild and blog while I’ve been on vacation. Tomorrow the wife and I are going to the science museum and hitting St. Hubert’s again. Being a skinny dude, I’m really saying something to say I think I’ve gained 10 pounds this week (after putting on 20 since our wedding). YAY!
Because of Excaliber’s tip, I’m going all Beastmaster so far, and put my last point in the Beastial Speed talent.

I couldn’t find any quick information on who it is that starts the questline to tame my first pet, so I’m making it. I remembered that for my dwarf hunter, the trainer was not in Ironforge, so I figured that the trainer for Blood elves would not be in Silvermoon. Wrong.
Upon reaching level 10, hunters gain the ability to tame their pets, after completing a questline. The questline starts with Oninath in Silvermoon (84,26). He sends you to Farstrider Retreat to speak with Lieutenant Dawnrunner (60,63).

I got up to 95% this morning before work, but decided it was more important to go in to the office to start earning money rather than earning XP. It’s a shame, I know, but someone had to do it. I finishedย several quests in Zangarmarsh in about 45 minutes.
I got 8 Delicate Wings from the Umberglow Stingers, I found the scout in Dead Mire and got his report off a giant, slayed Sporebat, I returned a globe to Swamprat Post that started a quest off a giant, and I have enough unidentified plant parts for two more turn-ins.
