Today’s Quest Log Is Full

I have been gathering quests everywhere I go and completing all of the kill this, and collect that, and see him quests that I can find. Now it is getting to the point where I have to get some help to complete some buddy quests.

I’m really getting ticked about the scarabs that spawn when I try to transmute the Blood for Boiling Blood, but I think I’m going to clear the whole stinking area and SW: Pain them to death until I get my 12. I have 4 already, so it’s just a matter of determination without having an AOE damage effect.

Deadr Goes to Blood Furnace

I went on a guild run of BF last night, with 2 70s. That was pretty easy going. It really brought down my XP, but I was there because I really wanted to see it and had 2 quests to complete. After that, we ran Ramparts to go for more loot. Let me just say, running with a druid bear tank with 12k HP is awesome.

The run only lasted 30 minutes, so I’d imagine I will be doing it often in the next week or two. I got a great boss drop and the quest rewards were nice. I’m at work today, so I should stick to that. 31% of 59 Cleared, Questlog Is Ready for More

I didn’t play any last night before wiping out after a long day. I did a boatload of work on the database I made at work, importing Excel sheets into my new table, formatting the report to display it all, and starting to audit the data for the last year. I got some decent sleep and I am well-rested now.

Deadr, was rested, as well, with 30k of rest to spend this morning. I immediately flew to Spinebreaker Post to repair and ride over to kill boars for the quest called “The Other White Meat.” I got a cleansing potion to purify the tainted meat, which several went toxic instead of purified. I was up 10% after only 10 minutes of playing. I went on to get 12 Plump Buzzard Wings for the next quest and got those turned in for another round of massive XP and logged off with 31% after only 57 minutes into the level.

Ding 59, in 4 Hours of Playtime

I ran through quests like never before yesterday. Like I said yesterday, I left for work with 16%. After 1 hour after work, I was at 41% and already done with 3 more quests. I ran down to Spinebreaker Post and picked up that flight point to log off to make dinner.

I got on at 8:00 again and played until I was at 91%. I was really, really getting tired of dying from Alliance and the stupid Cauldron by Zeth’Gor that I needed to transmute the Bleeding Hollow Blood for [60] Boiling Blood.

My loot upgrades were: Desolation Rod and Rod of the Unyielding.

I also got all of the Hellfire Spineleaves I needed to save a wounded orc. I killed all of the Unyielding Footmen, Knights, and Sorcerers. I found 30 Zeppelin parts scattered all over the place. I got 12 Ravager Eggs in Razorthorn Trail. There must have been 10 other quests in there somewhere, but it was happening too fast to keep track of it all for you, so I’m sincerely sorry. I really wanted to ding, and I’ll be 60 by the weekend, pretty much for sure.

I have also noted a severe lack of cloth gear for quest rewards so far. There have been 3 rewards that I’ve received or will receive when I’m done that have totally un-equippable items. Nice Vendor Trash money, but useless, nonetheless.

My total time /played now is 11d, 17h, 54m, 20s.

Deadr’s Journey Into Outlands at 58

I have long been saying that I’d be taking Deadr into Hellfire Peninsula as soon as he hit 58. I wasn’t kidding. I was on a bat within 5 minutes of dinging. I only took the time to repair and train up before getting Deadr on a bat.

In this post, I am detailing my journey through the Outlands as of yet. I logged off at 16% of the way through level 58, and it came really, really fast (40 minutes, including getting there). I couldn’t believe how much easier HP is for Deadr than Mr. Level 60 Gitr. 🙂

TBC Instance Questions

Since my WoW resources are so limited at work, I have a couple of unanswered questions that I’m too busy leveling at night to research. Please give the priest a hand and shovel some info this-a-way.

Is it reasonable to think I will be able to take Deadr into an Outland instance at level 58?
Does anyone have the information of what cloth/weapon loot will be rewarded for the first several quests in Outlands? My RPGOutfitter.com just got blocked at work as of this weekend, and I can’t even look up quest names. 🙁
Do the Alliance and Horde quests overlap a lot in the beginning, just with difference bases of origin?

Wish me “luck” in getting to 58 tonight. I’m leaving work after a mere 8 hours to play a while before my wife gets off work so I can try to get to 60-70% before my nightly playing time.
