It’s MINE! My Mage’s Battle Baton

With the help of some Core guildies, I got my today. Crugg and Wakarathe and I took down the next 3 bosses, but needed to call in a trial member (sorry I didn’t get a screenshot to capture your name) to take down the final boss in awesome fashion. He was a 70 Druid and took the heals as I donned full Shadow glory and VE’d and simply MB’d and Melted Face the whole time. So we 3-manned it (with a close call several times) until the last boss.

There were always no less than 4 Alliance players around, but they were just waiting until their help came. I think when they inspected Crugg, they decided against making any aggressive moves. 🙂

I got 70g, sold over 20 bags, and got this to bring my spell crit rate up 5% to 16.33%.

Brokentoe Down! Go Do Ring of Blood

I grouped up with some people last night for the Ring of Blood quests given by Gurgthock in Nagrand. We only took down Brokentoe before the Alliance showed up with 6 level 70 epic’d dudes. My goal is simple:

Besides that, you receive over 70k XP and 70g during the round of fights, and not spread out over the group, because they are all quest turn-ins and rewards. I’m going to give this a crack every night until I get done with them all. It was a lot of fun to heal again.

Deadr Is Riding in Style… Finally

I finally broke down and bought my epic mount tonight, and I was actually excited when I got to Brill and found out that it was only going to cost me a little over 1/2 of what I thought an epic mount costs. It ended up being 540g for the training and 90g for my Green Skeletal Warhorse. I am now speeding around Nagrand at 200% running speed. Heyaaah!!

Deadr Hits the 1,000 Gold Milestone

I finally got a toon over 1,000 gold, which is quite an accomplishment with how many alts I have funded with the best blues, mounts, and potions. I am considering going for Exalted with Silvermoon to get an Epic Hawkstrider instead of those silly undead mounts. I ran a few quests last night and only got 75 rep, so I’m going to research better quests to run. I seem to remember a good site I found on vacation in February about rep.

Paladr hit 25 and is leaving Charred Vale to go to Thousand Needles to start killing centaurs for hours. Thousand Needles has so many quests that don’t have nasty aggro areas. I love that.

Back on Paladr Again

I played the AH for a while on Deadr and went back to Paladr to see about getting him out of Charred Vale so we can have fun again. That stupid bowl just sucks the very life out of you, but it’s also an excellent source of XP. Maybe I’ll skip a few quests and come back later because of the aggro-mess that it is, but I only have a few Slayers and Roguefeathers left for one of the quests.

Work FINALLY got really busy yesterday, so I can’t even think about WoW much during the day. /sad. I even forgot to skip some of my less favorite songs on my Yahoo! Launchcast. Related to that, though, I reached “Addict” level with 5,000 ratings in about a month. It really does play what I want to hear now. From time to time I play a special channel to listen to new things and add them to my taste. I’m hooked on Jeff Foxworthy now. 🙂

Updates Look Like They Are Here to Stay

Remember those 3 weeks when everyone was dancing in the streets because Tuesday maintenance updates were over? I can’t remember the last time there wasn’t a Tuesday maintenance server shutdown, besides it being some vague memory of a nice day after the expansion.

/sigh

RL is really busy now, and I didn’t even play after dinner last night. I logged in really quick to find Deadr had almost 950g. I bought more cloth and made more bags, but as of this morning they hadn’t sold yet. I won’t buy my fast mount until I have several hundred extra gold so I have something to work with on the AH.
