Gitr’s Top Posts According to Google

February 26, 2007 By Gitr 2 Comments

I have my list of popular posts in the sidebar, but that isn’t what is drawing the traffic at this point. Almost 80% of my traffic is coming from Google searches, so I obviously have some cornerstone articles that are bringing in the traffic to answer peoples’ questions. Here are the top posts according to the Google search clicks: [Read more…] about Gitr’s Top Posts According to Google

3,198 Miles Down; 372,286 XP to Go

February 26, 2007 By Gitr 6 Comments

We got home at 7pm last night just as it started to sprinkle in our development. We had gone from -11 Celsius Saturday morning to 78 degrees Farenheit last night. What a nice change for the body and car.

I got on to play Deadr this morning and got his Tailoring up to 327 to make some more of the Netherweave gear and realized that I need to level him to wear any more of it. Dang! I am having so much fun playing Bloodr and being GM, the break was nice. I guess it is time to give Deadr play time in the morning and Bloodr time at night.

I found the Burstcap mushrooms just West of Zabra’jin in about 3 minutes. That was eaily the fastest collection quest I have ever had. [Read more…] about 3,198 Miles Down; 372,286 XP to Go

Almost Home; New York Is Boring

February 25, 2007 By Gitr 4 Comments

We made it back across the border without incident and all the way back to Richmond, VA for the night. It was an incredibly boring drive with snow, slush, and lots of nothing in New York. Who would want to live there? (besides the city) Yuck!

We got our car washed North of Baltimore and waited in line for 30 minutes…”It had better be good,” we said. It was. The embarrassment of driving through D.C. with that slush and those salt spots on a Florida car would have been more than I could bear had we not stopped.

It’s 4:30 and time to pack our overnight bag back up and roll out to be home for dinner tonight in warm (and hopefully sunny) Tampa. If we make good time, we’ll have enough time to eat before Extreme Makeover: Home Edition comes on. We should watch last week’s first.

Our milage reads 2,300 miles now. Anyone else doing any traveling lately?

Ding 20; Starting the Level 20 Quest

February 22, 2007 By Gitr 11 Comments

I haven’t made it back to the trainers yet, but I got to Silvermoon before logging. It’s time for bed to see what neat tricks I’ve learned.

Thanks for all of the support of the guild and blog while I’ve been on vacation. Tomorrow the wife and I are going to the science museum and hitting St. Hubert’s again. Being a skinny dude, I’m really saying something to say I think I’ve gained 10 pounds this week (after putting on 20 since our wedding). YAY!

Because of Excaliber’s tip, I’m going all Beastmaster so far, and put my last point in the Beastial Speed talent.

19 Already? Go Bloodr!

February 22, 2007 By Gitr 3 Comments

Bloodr hit 19 this morning and finished up some more quests in Ghostlands. She is about 30% of the way through level 19 now, and Catr is coming along for the ride, killing things 3-4 at a time. I’ve been working on Cooking, Skinning, and Leatherworking all the way.

I’ll be checking out what it takes and costs for a Vent server and all the specifics involved in that.

Not sure what we have planned for today, but I’ll likely be offline all day, with just a quick log-on tonight before bed.

Canadian Tractor Crossings

February 21, 2007 By Gitr 7 Comments

I cracked myself up with my wittiness yesterday on the way back from St. Hubert’s last night. For those of us not familiar with this Canadian eatery, it’s rotisserie chicken with excellent gravy/sauce that my wife dubbed dip-dip as a toddler. I ate a half-chicken and was quite pleased with the quality, especially the skin.

Back to the crack-up… [Read more…] about Canadian Tractor Crossings
