Paladr Gets a Blood-Tempered Ranseur

Thanks to the help of first Ravenkiller, and then Nynave joining us, Paladr got all of the mats for the [tag]Blood-Tempered Ranseur[/tag]. I must say it is heavy and swings like a monster. It may have lower dps than my sword, but the stats make it a true paladin weapon of finery.

Raven and I started out by doing Ragefire Chasm by ourselves and taking down what appears to be Omen’s little brother, Zelemar the Wrathful. No one really gave up much of a fight in RFC, but I will admit we almost died a few times because of the number of adds we got from spawning patrols. Ding 23; Huntr Is Ready for Charred Vale

Ah, yes! That place that is a charred aggro monkey-killing aggro-feasting place of a poopoo-head! I HATE that place! I’m going there anyway. I have 3 quests to complete, and it’s for nice XP. This time, I’m going to kill EVERYTHING in sight so it can’t sneak up on me. I’m lagging a bit behind on the level for where I am quest-wise for the guide. I guess I got some drops before normal, so I didn’t have to kill as many mobs to complete the quests.

I must have died 3 times this morning…yup. Three. So much for uber-ness. Of course, a new UI change like that is enough to distract even the most seasoned gamer. It’s kind of like wrecking your new Porche because you’re admiring the stitching on your leather-wrapped steering wheel instead of looking at the road. I paid the price with 3 very, very long corpse runs. I dinged somewhat early this morning (I guess I was closer than I thought last night when I was playing around with the UI) and got all distracted and pissed at the UI for not being able to see the result when I /played. I finally exited and loaded up Fu-Experience so I could see it on FuBar again. I dinged at 18h 55m according to my wonderfully-informative UI setup. Where’s Frostr?

Frostr hasn’t seen much playing time this week because of all the crap after work that’s been going on. I got him to X-roads and Camp Turajo last night and completed 2 quests this morning. I’m still a ways away from leveling, so it looks like it will be more than 2 hours for this level. 🙁

I logged in Deadr this morning to make Frostr a pair of Spidersilk Boots and enchanted them with Minor Speed before sending them away. They were for sale for 12g, but I made them for 8g. Yay for uber alts. He still needs to get the staff from the Ghostlands quest in Deatholme, but I can always teleport now. 🙂 That may save as much time on the guide as not having Aspect of the Cheetah. I have access to Org, UC, and SM. I believe TB is at level 30 or 40.

I’ve been spending all day on my new favorite site: AmpWow.com. I found it to be unblocked by our firewall so far */crosses fingers* and have been looking up as much as possible on rep, loot, and quests. After I get Bloodr to 28 tonight (after about 30 minutes of satyr slaying in Ashenvale) I will put her away for the time being, except for guild events.

What Is Your Dream Look?

Some people, myself included are really freaking out about how they look now that they are getting random greens and blues from TBC instances. It’s a total mish-mash of colors and styles. Shoot, just look at me recently wearing a stinking wolf head on my noggin. It’s just not cool

I got into WoW Model Viewer last night and pulled up the sets I aspire toward with Deadr and Bloodr. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get them, but I suppose there might be some comparably cool-looking quest pieces later. What is the look you’re going for?

Deadr Finally got Guild Help with Elite Quests

Last night I helped out a couple of fellow guildies with their elite quests in Lower City in Shattrath, so when all was said and done, I asked for some help in return. I got some major quests out of the way and boosted myself to 32% of the way through level 63.

I was searching for Ironjaw when I got called away, so we headed back there because I had also spotted the corpse of Stonegazer. I needed Stonegazer’s Blood for a group quest. He hadn’t spawned yet, so we we sought out Ironjaw and I got his pelt, then we took out Stonegazer. Natur was kind enough to ask if there were any other quests that I needed assistance with.
