UIs

I follow WowInsider’s Reader UI of the week and eagerly await every new UI (and drool over every new workspace). Today’s was no different from the norm. I LOVE IT! It even has the added feature of working. Now, a slight disclaimer is that a couple of the items did not load when I ran today because of the patch going to 2.2, but I didn’t write them down, and don’t care to. It works like a charm and I don’t miss anything that didn’t load. One thing of note so far is that I can’t get the buttons on AutoBar to work at all. I ended up creating a few huge buttons on the left side of the minimap to click for vitals.

Huntr Has a New UI

Has anyone seen Enricoswavay? Just checking.

I got a new UI last night because there are some things that I have seen on the UI of the Week on WoWinsider that I really like, but I have no idea what they are. That’s when my natural instinct kicked in: work smarter, not harder. I went to Curse Gaming and found the UI I was looking for as a compilation called All Deuce UI. Here is the UI as  I had it when it loaded up last night. I took a shot of it this morning, but it’s not appearing on the server. I’ll do a side-by-side view for you tomorrow, as I moved the bars around and got rid of the 3D portraits.

I’ve added some new features to my compilation, such as Clear Text and Nudge/Fudge. This one is a bit of a monster download, but I run with about 25-35MB of cache size while I’m playing. The biggest factor is your AH scans with Auctioneer, depending on how large your market is.

Visually, it remains largely the same, although I have switched to Dual-Screen and have moved things about between the 2 areas. I’m leaving this representation up, as it seems to be the one appealing to those downloading the initial release.

I finally decided to put all of my addons together into a package for all of you who commented on it last week. You can take and leave anything in there, but I highly recommend trying all of them. It includes 15 or so Ace2 addons, so you can get the WoWAceUpdater to keep them going smoothly.

I hope you like it, and drop me a line with your reactions to my compilation. Even an Irish in Denmark might want to use this package.
