I tried to log in this morning, but was greeted with a warning that I might not be able to log in.
I guess they were right.
Unlike your other World of Warcraft blogs. Quality over quantity, and a terrific community.

I completed Nessingwary’s hunter questline with the downing of King Bangalash, a level 43 Elite and his two level 33 (/cough /laugh) spawns. The reward bow was a complete joke compared to my current crossbow, so that was a bit of a letdown. I then hearthed to Booty Bay and turned in one more quest to get my ding with 3d 2h 12m of /played time.
I’m on my way to Thunder Bluff to turn in Frostmaw and hit the AH with almost 75g to spend if I need to.
On a slightly personal note, it will be a crazy week at work because I launched a new database for another department and I need to create all of the reports that my boss will undoubtedly request by Thursday. I’ll be checking for comments, but unable to reply to any until lunch.
Comment away about how your weekend went.
I finished level 41 in just over 3 hours because of pitiful drop rates on croc items and dragon drops. I trained up and found level 42 skills quite disappointing. I will be dropping Tiggr’s skills and adopting more of BRK’s tips on pet attributes. I was going about his stuff pretty blindly, not thinking it made much difference. BRK has since educated me otherwise.
Anyway, back to leveling, Huntr got to level 42 in 2d 22h 39m /played time and dinged at the precise moment stated by Joana’s Horde Guide. It was quite nice, so maybe my time wasn’t all that bad, seeing as how I pretty near had to kill all of that stuff anyway to get that much XP.
The guide has me in STV for quite a while, but I enjoy wrapping that stuff up because I know Tanaris is coming soon. I love all the stuff Tanaris has to offer.
I logged in this morning to over 30 sold auctions on Bankr. It was quite a glut. I’d emptied my mailbox and posted everything I had at a deep discount from HSP, but well above what I paid for things. Here is how that turned my money situation around.
What did you do today?
I left a screenshot on my computer at home that is just bugging me that I didn’t put up for my post today, but here we go without it.
Big Red Kitty noted yesterday that there is a bug with pets that allows you to dismiss (not abandon) your pet and tame another one. I found that after being unable to abandon my pet in order to tame a new one. I had a crap level 40 cat in the stable that I brought out for my taming session because I think it’s better to wander out to tame something with a sidekick.
I got to the target’s area, and I kept getting a bug that BugSack was recording when I tried to ditch the pet. I logged out and back in, to no avail. That was when I found the bug, so I thought I’d give it a try. Sure enough, it worked, but that was not the cool thing. That happened when I got back to the Stable Master.
I tamed two pets, first a spider and then a crab, and went to give it one last attempt to abandon my current pet. Amazingly, it worked! Then I opened my stable and got out Tiggr, but I also had Catr AND the spider that I’d tamed the crab after in the unpurchased stall! My screen still shows that I can purchase another stall for 5g, but there is already an animal in it. It’s a great screenshot, so I’ll do my darndest to put it up here tonight.

I didn’t even have to grind one second for level 41 and got there in under 2 1/2 hours with a total /played time of 2d 19h 29m. I reached it before I was supposed to, most likely because of drop rates with the buzzard wings. Badlands is so good for leveling when there are quests associated with all of the killing. There are tons of mobs, but they aren’t really aggro nets like other places.
I think I’m done with Badlands, or at least for a while. I already killed the patrolling orge boss, a 45. I put Hunter’s Mark on him and sent in Tiggr to Intimidate him right off the bat. I struck him with Serpent Sting and kept nailing him with Arcane Shots as often as it cooled down. As soon as he went down, I started running because Tiggr was down to 15% health after taking a beating from 6 mobs at one time. I got away and came back 20 seconds later to loot the body.
I’ve got all the pages for the Green Hills of Stranglethorn, so I’m off to turn those in and run all the way to Swamp of Sorrows.
I see Ravenkiller hit level 30 last night. Gratz, man. What else did you all do last night?

I dinged 40 yesterday morning with 2d 16h 52m /played time using Joana’s Horde Guide. I don’t think I’ve ever bested 4 days before, so I am entirely thrilled with my investment. I immediately translocated to Silvermoon and made my way to [tag]Thuron’s Livery[/tag] outside of Silvermoon (61,54) to purchase my mount. I took a look at them all before I made my way inside the building to receive my training to become worthy to handle such a creature.
[tag]Perascamin[/tag] offered to teach me to ride one of his slower breeds for 81g, which I gladly exchanged to be able to travel at 160% of my normal speed. I went back outside and purchased a [tag]Black Hawkstrider[/tag] from [tag]Winaestra[/tag], the breeder, for another 9g.
