I had originally posted a link to Digg about this obit piece about a toon named Nano on the official WoW forums, but the image very quickly disappeared because of bandwidth I found it elsewhere last week:
We Made it to Virginia
It was a long, yet uneventful drive up to Richmond, VA. Time to go to bed for an early start in the morning.
Vacation Day #1: Cartoons
Since I will possibly be gone for 9 WHOLE DAYS, I’ve set up some automatic posts. If I get a chance to give updates on how things are going and what we are doing, I’ll be putting them in as they come. So, with that aside, enjoy this post from February last year. I find it particularly funny now that I no longer really relate to this poor fella. Enjoy:
I’d never heard of this cartoon before my co-worker sent it to me last night. I came into work today and started rolling on the floor. The strip is called User Friendly and these are the last 2 days’ cartoons:
Guild Forums, Anyone? Come on in!
I found that GoDaddy offers a pre-install of Vanilla Forums and I set it up with 3 addons and a new theme that I think we should like if you like my blog. It’s really skeletal so far, but I should be able to get some time in on it today.
Please go give it a whirl so we can see how it works.
Buttered Monkeys Have Arrived
It took a heck of a time, including reading the in-game helpย and /w’ing Aeig to find the answer to my problem. I got the charter signed by me and 9 other unique signatures and went to turn it in. The guild registrar in Silvermoon refused to let me turn it in. I figured it was bugged like other things were, so I went to Undercity to try. Again, same problem.
If any of you have this problem, the answer is easy: put the charter in your backpack, not one of your bags.
For the record, here is the list of the founding members of Buttered Monkeys on Burning Legion (PvP): [Read more…] about Buttered Monkeys Have Arrived
Hitting a Slump; Work Sucks
I won’t be getting much playing time before we leave for vacation in Canada on Saturday. We are going to the wife’s house for dinner tonight to see her sister who has to stay here because her college courses have some exams next week, and Friday night, I’m going to bed right around the time I finish eating.
We leave at 5am Saturday morning and will stop in Richmond, VA for the night before continuing through to Ottawa. I hope the snow comes down less than expected or that the snowplows have time to clear the way before we get there. Forecasters are calling for 20″ of snow for parts of New York, and we have to pass right on through to Syracuse to cross the border.
