Improved Theme, From Input From My Wife
I asked K how she liked my blog one night. She said it was pretty brown. I have been wanting to go a bit “darker” because of Deadr’s alliance with the Horde, and had struggled with a couple of tries that didn’t really float her boat.
She likes this one, especially how the post section is framed with the darker color. I told her I would work on the header in Photoshop, but not change too much. Firefox is showing some overlap onto the header and some things are popping around as the page loads, but I think it is a vast character improvement.

Firefox 2 Has Live Feeds
I noticed, as a blogger, that there is a HUGE improvement in Firefox 2 before I even knew that it came out. I never really pay attention to the spinning dots in the corner saying that there is an update available, but I saw a 300% increase in my feed readership the day it was released. Weapon DPS Debate
I’m downright confused about weapon damage now. I thought I had it all figured out after the Character DPS information confirmed what my DPS would be, but it was WRONG! I’ve asked before, and been told that wands were called “white damage” and are unaffected by + gear. I wanted a Shadow Wrath wand anyway, because that would require a mob to have Shadow Resist to lessen its effect.

New Guild: Core!
Last night, I logged in right before bedtime, doing my usual nightly aerosols, and Josh Dura was on as Korgg. I had just clicked the mailbox as I saw on the Dallas chat channel, “Deadr, quit the guild, I need another signature.” I /gquit and went to the AH person and he said, “and come to Org.”
I took the zepp, and was greeted on the tower by Korgg with a request to sign the charter. I am a founding member of our new guild, Core. I love starting new guilds. Being a 40 carries a little more weight and dedication than a 20-something, but I won’t be able to do much with them for a while. It was just cool.
Ding! 40!!
At 2:17pm EST, Deadr hit 40 in STV turing in the Raptor Mastery quest for the Jungle Stalkers. He is hearthing to train, get a horse, and then going to SM Cathedral again!
